I would go after the following guys...

PG
Jason Terry
Gary Payton
Andre Miller
Gilbert Arenas

SG
Jimmy Jackson
Steve Smith
Veshon Leonard
Lucious Harris
Eric Piatkowski

SF
Adrian Griffin
James Posey
Lamar Odom
Corey Maggette
Lee Nailon

PF
Karl Malone
Juwan Howard
Stromile Swift
Kenny Thomas
PJ Brown

C
Elden Campbell
Jake Voskuhl
Vladimir Stepania
Radoslav Nesterovic
Alonzo Mourning

We need 5 players, and if we dumped Pargo, Walker, Madsen, Murray, Fox (until he recovers), and Horry we have 6 players and so we have 6 vacant spots to be filled for the playoff roster and 3 for the added insurance to fill out the 15 spots. I figure we can sign a player from each position (2 from the PF slot) and we are set for depth.

I think we should keep Pargo, he's such promising player in years to come

We need a scoring, rebounding, power foward (or two). A good outside threat / scorer. And a backup center for Shaq. We also need a PG. Maybe Pargo and Fisher are the keys, but it wouldn't hurt getting a new athletic PG for us...

That was the point of my post, THERE ARE PLAYERS OUT THERE...For every guy @ each position on my lists...there are about 5-10 other qualified free agents in THIS YEAR"S pool, then when you factor in foreign players, The Draft and the NBDL...it is easier to find quality talent than Mitch seems to think, or maybe Phil has something to do about it, right LP?

Don't forget that the triangle isn't that easy to learn ... you can't just replace guys based on their individual stats !

Yea SB, there is plenty of talent out there brother. It's time for Mitch to earn his pay. He hasn't done JACK [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. You must edit this post prior to submitting.] in the past three years but enjoy the hand down from West.

This is make or break for Mitch. He screws this up and IMO he'll be out of a job next summer...

Isn't that the whole point of a Message Board, to talk about the possibilities surrounding the team and what moves they could/will make...

We @ Club Lakers Care a great deal about every tiny aspect of our team. If this is so boring, I have a suggestion...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
