damn you guys are so hard on Samake. give him a break! i mean..he's not all that bad! when shaq was out, and he played center he had a few strong games. the lakers weren't asking him to score because kobe was doing that. he rebounded well though. however, when he sprained his ankle in utah right after the opening tip, he was never the same, never got back into the rotation. he had some nice blocked shots during his time with the lakers but yes, consistency was his problem.

Samaki walked out on the team after the playoffs and hasn't been heard from since (as far as I know). He was the only one (apart from naughty Shaq) not to have an exit interview.

He's a free agent and won't be back with the Lakers. Another failed PF experiment......

Samaki's nickname is Stone Hands. I think the only thing he held on to last year was his paycheck. He did nothing to HELP the team. I do give him credit though, everytime he got in the game he was good for atleast one turnover, several lost rebounds (hence the nickname), unlimited dumbass plays, and getting his shot blocked. I used to pray on offense that they would never pass him the ball.

Who in the hell is Samaki??? I neva heard of him!! JK :man10:

It's not like he really did anything for us anyway, but all in all, he is a FA, and the Lakers aren't gonna re-sign him... Unless something is seriously wrong with other players, then we'll see him in our roster once again! NO!! :freak2:

The summer we brought in Samaki, was a huge mistake on our part...but Mitch has made up for it soooo beautifully this summer. Anyways if we displayed a little patience and some foresight for the next summer, we could have landed Malik Rose, which would have been huge for us at the PF spot. He is a great energy guy and definitely a better player than his taller SA counterpart. He would have been a perfect back-up to Malone this year...but hey that's the past and we just gotta live with it. Back to Samaki, let Kobe get in a couple more hits to let out his frustrations of these ridiculous allegations and lets send his [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. Yeah, I remember that 3, but that's all I can remember. I think after Horry, they need to resign Mad Dog. Matter of fact, I'm getting ready to put up a post on why we should keep Mad Dog. :jam2:

Thanks. I have that game on tape. All that talk that game about Yao and Shaq dominated him and they still tried to find something good to say about Yao.

That rivalry was made by the public ya know? Yao is a good guy and so is Shaq. It's nice to see a "rivalry" where both players respect eachother alot...

I never cared for Walker either. I'm happy that he will not be returning next season. He's lucky we gave him a ring for being worthless.
