i dont know the extras involved, but those r the players involved and its done. You shall see soon enough, and being it hasnt hit the boards yet i cant give you a media source, but im sure it will by game time.

Question, why would Orlando want Cook and Evans for Ariza when they are like the best in their division and it doesn't improve their team?

Go to NBA.com look what hit the board 6 min ago, magic assigned a player to the d-league, making and extra roster spot avail, hmmm wonder why.

That doesn't make an extra roster spot available.

The Orlando Magic have assigned forward Marcin Gortat to the Anaheim Arsenal of the NBA Development League, General Manager Otis Smith announced on Tuesday. Gortat will continue to be included on the Magic’s roster and will remain on the team’s Inactive List.

Gortat has not appeared in a game this season. He has been on the Inactive List a total of 11 times and has registered one DNP-CD. Gortat was selected in the second round (57th overall) of the 2005 NBA Draft. His rights were acquired by Orlando on draft night (June 28, 2005) in exchange for cash considerations.

Does assigning a player to the d-league open a roster spot? I don't think it does, that player is still under contract. Looking it up... no it doesn't.

That would be to good to be true... SO I call BS on a poster with 7 post.... (for now)
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.
