The stream is dropping out too much for me. Not good.

This is amazing, finally get to see some coverage on my Lakers. Before I was limited to BSPN so to have a whole channel dedicated to it, wow.

I am curious if they would blackout the games that are on broadband. I am also not sure of the point of blacking out games for the Lakers when they are sell outs anyways. What do they gain by doing that? I can see if it was a team like the Hawks that struggle to fill games unless Kobe is in town but what is the point of blackouts of local teams. One of the stupidest concepts ever.

May we ask which stream you're using? I don't see any on ATDHE or FRS.

Psychobroker and kidhell, thanks for the last minute pitch to avoid TWC. But messing with the Lakers is like messing with our emotions. Can't take the chance. Good thing, like others have said, there is no commitment with TWC. So if it doesn't work out hopefully by then someone else will have it.

Thing with Direct TV that I worry about, since they have so much invested in their NFL product and if TWC is going to hardball them maybe at some point they'll say screw it, it's not worth the hassle. Because who are we kidding, the NFL dominates this country. The other pro sports are just fighting over the table scraps. They may lose a significant amount of the Lakers fan base in Southern California but maybe they're willing to take that little hit, until TWC comes around. It may be a different story if there was nothing to watch in Nov and Dec, but the NFL will be raging those months. Direct TV may wait out TWC until they get the deal they want.

Feels like the onus is really on TWC to prove there are fans willing to pay for Lakers basketball, when they've been getting half of the games for free for decades. We all know people in this country will pay for the NFL. Lakers basketball, we're going to find out.

yes, the channel fired up for me. I was worried since I pay for a ridiculous low priced plan with TWC and thought they'd force me to pay for a digital cable package. I feel very grateful.

This channel will be on 95% of the time at my place. Especially during the season, when I can watch exclusive Lakers coverage and not what did Lebron tweet today, or what shape and color was Tebow's poop or 50 straight hours of replacement official coverage.

Just realized I could've used my brother's account to stream the channel all along. Missed half of the show :disagree:

Hopefully they'll stream the replay later. I'm trying to find some kind of video capture software to record to my pc and hopefully upload the full show for you guys.
