My Birthday is next week. All I want to see is, one day next week when I log on to see "Lakers agree to a 1year deal with Sasha Vujacic."

Is that too much to ask? :(

This video is bad quality but breaks down his game, including his defensive ability:

He's definitely an athlete. In the highlight videos I just was checking out on YouTube, he gets out ahead of everyone multiple times on fast breaks for layups and dunks, and he drives to the hoop a good amount overall, even makes some nice passing plays and hustle plays. He does kinda look like the SF version of Shannon. He even was all over Kobe and stole the ball from him in his rookie highlight mix. :man1:

How are we signing more players at lower prices post-Dwight than when we first signed him? Heh, I'll take it!

I'd guess both, Young starts, Wes off the bench.

I would try this:

Nash/Farmar
Combo guard: Blake (might get traded?)
Young/Meeks
Kobe/Johnson
Odom?/Hill
Pau/Kaman

We got younger and more athletic this time, which is great. But we need a 4 now.

Wesley should work on his shot, slash and defend. But he does have potential, for sure. MDA might make him better actually, we'll see.

Yeah it's a decent platoon approach. Nick for scoring mostly and Wes for D mostly. My guess is D'Antoni will give both a run and go with whoever is playing better. But, I would imagine Nick is likely to eat more of the minutes.

While his overall numbers are pretty pedestrian...when he was starting and getting consistent minutes in march and april last season, his numbers were pretty good.

definitely a steal for the vet min and only 1 year. all of these signings have been great, considering...

Wow, really nice pick-up. I recall focusing on him at times last season and was overall impressed. Again, it's been mentioned in here before, but I'm suprised at the amount of youth, athleticism and talent that's been available for the vets min this off season. It's a bit surprising, but to our advantage. I'm not complaining.

I never would have thought we would be able to sign Wesley Johnson. I always knew he and Kobe were super close and given the news that he is now a member of the Lakers. I absolutely love this signing because as Kobe mentioned. This off-season in his exit interview and in his most recent interview at his Basketball Camp/Academy Kobe said that we need players with length and speed on the outside to help with defense.

Well, Wesley Johnson is definitely one of those kinds of players. He has a ton to work on and improve, but now being under Kobe's leadership and development for the entire year I think he can turn into a special players, similar to Ariza.

I am so psyched about this signing and I am sure Kobe is as well. :jam2:
