What Channel will the Lakers be on?

As you all know Lakers have a new tv deal ... just want to know..will we have to pay extra for there channel? or will it be an add on to the original channel line up?

it's not til next season anyways.
this season is still FSN and KCAL

the contract negotiations with other providers for the new channel wont start until next summer. as of now, around 1.6 million local viewers will be losing access to the lakers if they dont upgrade or if their television provider doesnt strike a deal with TWC. time warner might even put it on the sports tier so that current subscribers without it would need to pay even more monthly to get the channel.

So the Lakers will remain on Kcal9 and FSN this season?

Well, hopefully Verizon will figure something out...

Does anyone know if the negotiations for this Lakers channel will result in just one channel for non-Time Warner Cable providers? Or will the channel be a part of some package non-Time Warner Cable customers have to get from their own provider?

And would it be possible to get NBA League Pass if worst comes to worst, even though I live in the LA area?

If this happened, I was thinking of asking my cousin to order the league pass for me (he lives out of state) and I would log in from here. Or is the online viewing for league pass IP monitored, as I assume it is?

Sorry for the barrage of questions, but I'm just concerned about potentially missing out on so many Laker games.
