What Made Me Confident About Next Year

What Made Me Confident About Next Year

Postby BDG on Fri May 16, 2003 1:02 am

After the loss, I was kinda down, seeing as I wanted to be the first team of the new era to QUAT-ROW. But, after listening to Kobe's press conference, I heard him say something that provided hope. Did you all hear when he said that he "hates this feeling and I don't want to feel it again. Ever." That said a lot about where his goals are and how determined he will be to do well for next season.

2K3-2K4. Get ready. It's on.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.

shaq / kobe

as long as you got shaq and kobe, you're always in the thick of things.

I'll be excited about next year after we get the necessary FAs. Take Shaq and Kobe off LA and that is a HORRIBLE team. I love Fox, Fish, George, Horry (prior to this year), but that is just a bad team. Need someone who is liable to get 20 and a PF that can shut down opposition.

OMG Kobe!! He's done so much last season to prepare himself, and he was ready for the battle. But this season his teammates weren't up to par. We started off bad, but we made it this far. I hope we get some good quality players!! We gotta be focused!

Even though we lost I still feel extremely confident about next season. This loss only hungers Kobe more, and I think a hard loss like this will bring out a stronger killer instinct in him .... just pray our GM actually does some work this offseason and sign a player like Gilbert Arenas or Juwan Howard

First Gilbert Arenas ... G and Kobe on the backcourt :man13:
If not Keon, PJ or Juwan.

Why not both :man4:

another thing to be optimistic about
fox promised he would be very scary after his return after his surgery
by then
a healthy shaq, kobe and lakers.

Well, if he does rededicate himself, then Devean and a Rejuvinated Fox can still be a great combo @ SF.

We need to rebuild without him though, meaning we get a quality SF and IF HE DOES RECOVER AND IS AS GOOD AS BEFORE OR BETTER, THEN WE GIVE HIM A SHOT, BUT ONLY IF...
