What number would Malone wear?

He can't be #32, 33, 34 or 42 or 44. So what do you think he will choose?

I've heard that Magic was offering his #32.

But Malone would probably not take it just as a form of respect.

How about #69!!! :man10:

or what about 7, cause if you take kareems 33 and add the 3s you get 6. Malone's 7 would one up Kareem statin the obvious of what he thinks will happen to Kareem's scoring title

Who knows, I heard Magic will take out his number of retirement for Malone to use, and then I guess he would put it back?

I don't understand how that workds, but I think Malone will want a diff. number...

I think he should wear #1 symbolizing his first ring!! If Horry doesn't come back on the cheap maybe 3+2 #5 or better yet #50. 23 would not look right on him. Its hard enough imagining him in Laker gear anyway, there are no farms in LA!!! But we'll get used to it. Is he ready for the City of Angels? Note to Karl, when Kobe pisses us all off and ball hogs as he is known to do at times. DON'T air your frustrations out in the media, keep your big mouth shut and think RING!!!!

If Malone wears Magic's number, I think I'll throw up. I'll be excited if he comes to L.A., but no one ought to wear that number, not even Kobe! What is Magic thinking?

As hick as Malone is he would't dare wear 32 for 3 reasons, 1 It wouldn't be right for him to take his number even if offered. 2 Hes no Magic and would get so much heat for such a bold move and 3 After the bone headed comment he made about playing against Magic with his HIV thing, Malone would think by wearing his number he would catch it too....lol

I guess it would be fitting that his number be alongside the "32, 33 & 34". My choice for "The Mailman" would be #31, after all, it's nearest 32. :man12: Though it's not a topic yet, I'd like "The Glove" to wear #30, so if Jon Barry'd be back with the Lake Show, he could get his good-ol' #20 back.
