Ugh, yeah I remember they weren't letting random bloggers get media creds a few years ago. Maybe they should have kept it that way.lakerswiz wrote:BDG wrote:Some reporter asked Mitch if we're gonna see some of the Triangle tonight with Bickerstaff coaching.

How do some of these guys get jobs?
Mostly bloggers. I saw a picture the other day of people crowded around someone in the locker room and it looked like a bunch of high school kids standing there with their iPhones.
So many of these NBA bloggers are nothing but a person that can write well and happens to like basketball. Sites like Bleacher Report which are popular and make a TON OF MONEY and they're crap. Just fully crap from top to bottom. And they're probably employing a ton of people.
Hell a kid I went to high school with was writing for LakersNation (not TLN) a year into high school and they've blown up in the past two years. And it was easy for them. It was so easy. There was so much room for a Lakers site to move in on twitter and Facebook and they snatched it up and are now profiting fat from it. I bet they still have a ton of kids writing for them. And judging by the personal interactions I've had with the owner...eh, I should probably stop there.

Here's all I'm going to say: You pick D'Antoni as next coach for Lakers if you want to entertain for 82 gms. You pick PJ to win titles.
