Lol if Phil was at the practice facility he could have just been visiting Jeanie. But yes I'd love to have him back, him and his staff, Rambis included if he wanted to be here.

Yeah I'd say that's what he was doing. I honestly don't expect Phil to come back and would be surprised if he does, but damn it would be one hell of a good surprise.

People may forget that Kurt Rambis was in charge of the defense that we used in our 09 championship run. Would love to see us have a competent defensive system that forces baseline.

Mostly bloggers. I saw a picture the other day of people crowded around someone in the locker room and it looked like a bunch of high school kids standing there with their iPhones.

So many of these NBA bloggers are nothing but a person that can write well and happens to like basketball. Sites like Bleacher Report which are popular and make a TON OF MONEY and they're crap. Just fully crap from top to bottom. And they're probably employing a ton of people.

Hell a kid I went to high school with was writing for LakersNation (not TLN) a year into high school and they've blown up in the past two years. And it was easy for them. It was so easy. There was so much room for a Lakers site to move in on twitter and Facebook and they snatched it up and are now profiting fat from it. I bet they still have a ton of kids writing for them. And judging by the personal interactions I've had with the owner...eh, I should probably stop there.
Ugh, yeah I remember they weren't letting random bloggers get media creds a few years ago. Maybe they should have kept it that way.

I mean that question is just incredibly stupid for a media member to ask.

Nor can the Lakers get blamed for always making the right decisions over decades. At some point its not just luck or "gamble", its superior management and superior ownership.

I just hope that for whatever reason Pringles does get the job instead of yelling at Mitch and or Jim we wait to see if Phil even wanted the job because he might have been #1 priority on the list.

Dr Buss seeing showtime one more time to get 17 and possibly 18 has a lot of leverage. Philip may need to take a lot less then he would like. Honestly, I do not mind if either one gets it. If D'Antoni gets the job, the offense will average 120 points a game. Defense with artest, kobe and howard should be decent enough not to be an issue.

Phil coming in might turn Dwight into the MVP this year, and if Dwight is playing MVP ball, Lakers are destroying teams. Plus he has the history and the skills to handle all the stars.

Win-win either way. Lakers did well cutting ties now. I say Lakers have either Mike or Phil for Tuesday's game against the Spurs.
