Who should win this year ?

Postby GoldenEye on Fri May 16, 2003 4:46 am

It will be a great year for the east conference to win it ...

What do you think ?

I'll go for Nets !

I wish it is LA :man6:

I'm cheering for Jersey, although I think San Antonio will take it. I don't see anybody stopping Duncan, and once he gets going, the rest of the team kinda falls in behind him. :man5:

Another thing, Jason Kidd should have been last season's MVP over Duncan. But, Duncan played as an MVP during the series with our Lakers.

What no love for the Kings? Last night my guys reprresented the Golden State with a Win over the Lone Star boys and my feeling is that after another win on Sat we will square up to take on the Spurs. Sure with no Webber, but there are a few other guys on the team who can play, and more importantly we have gaurds that can make Parker a non issue which prety much leave the wole job up to Duncan.

I can't say i am sorry to see the Lackers loose, but I really did want to see a rematch in the WCF. Talk to you all after teh season is over, we have games to play.

Hey.. maybe if the Nets win it all, Kidd will be inspired to stay with New Jersey and not move west to a team like SA like rumors are saying.. :man1:

NO SLEF RESPECTING LAKER FAN WOULD EVER ROOT FOR THE KINGS!!!
I would have to say that I honestly think that San Antonia has the team that has the best chance to win it all. I will be watching but I will not be behind anyone team!! My team is the Lakers period!!

I honestly do not root for anyone else but our beloved Lakers. From this moment on, I am not watching anymore playoff games. Congratulations to whoever wins it.

Well of course we're not gonna root for anyone like what we would do the Lakers. But I wouldn't root for the Kings, cuz we just have something against them. I give mah respect to their team, but I wouldn't EVER root for them! Just cuz the Lakers are out of it, it's not gonna be the same watchin the rest of the games, but I still am, cuz I love the NBA that much, and mah Lakers even more! :man1:

Im rooting for Nets. But in reality, I think San Antonio will pull it off...

EXCEPT...

Something about the Nets that makes me excited. Mutumbo is on the bench and their powerhousing teams. Just think of when they put him into the game. He did a great job against Shaq (I thought) so maybe he will be able to contend with say, Duncan or Vlade. It's just something that still floats around in my mind...

Ouch!

Sorry about that. Webber injury must have been a bit too much to recover from, just as it was with us losing Fox & George getting hobbled.

Well, have a seat and enjoy the rest of the playoffs.

Looks like everyone is pickin the Spurs among the Final Four left. I still think that the Mavs have a chance, even though its close to none. Maybe the Mavs get hot and catch the Spurs in the wrong time. Anything can happen!!!

I don't think the Mavs will win against Spurs or expect an injury from Duncan and then there is a possibility as Queens have done :man10:

Now that Queens are eliminated, I don't care who will win :man1:
