They're rookies. It's an early season. How can you say they're going to be top 5 players this soon? That's way too soon. Hell wait a season or two and then get back to me. I'm not saying they can't, but they have a long, long way to go. It's too early to tell.

There's nothing sure about them. But they look very promising !!

you really don't think dwayne wade is in the super elite after last season?

Give Wade a team and if he stays healthy he can bring you a championship any day. If we had Wade instead of Kobe this year, we'd still be favorite for the championship.

I would say the super elite class has to be a team of 5. If Wade isn't in it, then that only leaves two players in Kobe and Lebron. Super Elite is Kobe, Wade, Lebron, Howard, and probably Dirk. Unfortunately Howard is about as good a big man as you can get nowadays...I would rather have Bynum since he doesn't suck at free throws and can hit the jumper.

As good as Howard is, replace him with Pau and they're a better team ! That's where you see how underrated is Pau.

DURANT HE WILL BE YOUNGER AND MORE DOMINENT THAN HE ALREADY IS BUT HE NEEDS TO WORK ON PASSING AND DEFENSE BUT OVER ALL I WOULD TAKE HIM

The candidate list does not include Carmelo. My bad, I think it's a mistake. Anthony, is good enought to be a possible choice for Kobe replacement.

To get the good guy, ask yourself this question :

Who should take the last shot for your team ?

then I present to you ...

this man may not get much buzz because he doesnt play in the pac ten or in the east coast but this kid is from palmdale and he reminds me of Tracy Mcgrady

He averaged 15points as frosh in a team system. according to nba draft .net he should be a lotto pick but may slipp. keep a eye on this local california kid

He is a team player and a great defender at such a young age. If kobe was his mentor we would see a future all star in a caron butler mold.Im sure you will be hearing his name in march

Give me John Wall and Xavier Henry.. :man1:

I'm sorry I couldn't help but bump this post ....I know Xavier hasn't done much since he got to the league and based on how he has looked as an NBA player in hindsight I wouldn't have stated his name in this thread but he is now starting to show that he can be a decent player so I'm going to bump this now...lol...Ironic how he now plays for the Lakers though...I so see the future... :man10: No, but he played well last night and I hope he can continue to grow as a player here.

I like Henry though. If he can make it through this season productively, he's got a place on this team next season for sure.

Wiggins

I really want a future star when Bryant is done doing the heavy lifting....... not a star I'll be worrying about his age by the time I re-tool...

I'd role the dice with the unknown..... just like we rolled the dice on Bryant...

If I had to choose a current player however within the debate it would be Paul George or Kyle Irving.....

Durant would be the obvious choice, youngest with most upside...don't wanna think about it yet though replacing the greatest Laker of all time in my eyes is just too painful to think about right now.
