Kevin Durant is the obvious choice.

Who do I think it will be? Mayo.

Durant this, Durant that.. Give me Deron Williams over this guy. What does he do besides scoring? He has become extremely overrated on this board.

OJ Mayo is an undersized 2 that can't defend and will never be a superstar. Kobe even at 35 could probably still own him.

Dwight Howard is a center, we already have Andrew Bynum at that spot.

Wade is turning 28 in less than 2 months, not sure how he will hold up in his mid-30's.. my guess is that he won't be a superstar at that point.

LeBron James is pretty much the only player currently.. and the chances of him coming here is pretty much slim to none.

But seriously, why even think so far ahead? Some people on here must be dying for Kobe's downfall.

Bynum.

Other than Andrew I love Durant. He's got incredible potential and talent.

A young Penny Hardaway type of clone(pre-injury bug) would be my absolute dream. You team that up with Bynum, and its total annihilation once again. Penny is the closest thing I have ever seen to Magic Johnson in my life.

:man10: i'm sorry.. but no thanks. Mayo, and Westbrook are among the leagues most overrated players. they are both pretty good, but this is LA!

I don't like thinking about a post-Kobe laker team, but probably Durant, he has a nice mid range game.
Every time I begin to ask, "Is he really as great as I think he is?" ...He proves that he is.
Every time I begin to wonder...He proves it...That is why I won't lose hope in him.
You know who I am talking about.

I always thought OJ Mayo had pretty good defense.

they were talking about this on friday on espn radio

Scoop Jackson, ESPN writer, thinks that Brandon Jennings won't be staying in Milwaukee. Scoop said "he's doing his jail time right now". He thinks he's going to want to come home and be a super superstar

i know thats so down the line. but it's fun to think about

Well according to BSPN, he was born in Compton, which I did not know. That would be awesome if he's one day a Laker if he keeps this up.

Bynum will be leading the team by than and our star player on the perimeter will probably be someone whose not even in the league yet.

i don't think Bynum will ever lead this team. he doesn't seem to be much of a leader, and i don't see him embracing that sort of role, i think he's better off being our #2 guy in the future, i would like to see any of the following as our future #1

Roy
Lebron
Durant
Jennings
CP3
John Wall
Granger
Iggy

i have to repost.

1) Durant
2) Mayo

and if jennings continues his amazing start he'd be welcome too, seems like the type of player that wants the spotlight and LA has that :man1:

Why would you want Lebron? Or why would he even come here? Let the overhyped loser go somewhere else.

Durant + Mayo would be nice.

I want Tyreke Evans. I love his game and think it would complement Bynums very well.

I wholeheardely agree with the post above me. Evans is going to be something special. If he had Jennings' court vision, passing and dribbling, coupled with his defense that he has now, he would literally be unstoppable. He has great height, and seems like a good clean cut kid.

I really like Brandon, but something about him rubs me the wrong way
