Grunfeld who still runs the Bucks told SportsLine.com, "Why would we sign-and-trade? If we want to save the money, we'll let him go. If we want to spend the money, we'll keep him. We like Gary."

But the catch is that Grunfeld (GM of the Bucks) is goin to interview for Washington's vacated general manager position.

See what I was saying #1 Kobe Fan?

They will let him go - they want to rebuild and start from scratch. (Why they'd just let a hall of fame point guard and one of the league leaders in steals go free for nothing is beyond all of us) For reasons unknown to you and me (sensible basketball people), they wnat no remnants of the former management or era of the Bucks.

So bring on the Glove....

yup Grunfeld is out!!!!

Gone to Washington.

Not sure if the story on the original posts is still possible, since it was Grunfeld who made the statement.

Grunfeld has been rumored as a candidate for president of basketball operations with the Washington Wizards. The Washington Post reported Saturday that Grunfeld could head to Washington as early as Tuesday.

He doesnt have the job yet!!!! GP will become a free agent July 1st.

I heard that you can start talking to free agents starting July 1st, but you can start signing them starting July 16.

Is this true?????

Michael Jordan looked into buying the Milwaukee Bucks. But in the end, Herb Kohl wasn't ready to sell.

Kohl, the Bucks owner and U.S. senator from Wisconsin, announced that he is pulling his team off the market.

The rumors that I have been hearing is that if Jordan was unable to buy into the Buck franchise, his second choice was Atlanta. And that he very well might be a part of the hawks whether through ownership or being their general manager which is more likely since they are in the process of being purchased and do not have a permanent general manager.

Whatever happened to Mike being part of the Charlotte franchise. That bit of news was hot weeks ago.
