We need another small forward badly. Metta is horrible.

It's amazing how much better we looked simply by having a head coach let the players be themselves.

Guys weren't playing out of position (except Jamison at SF in the first half).

We played pickup basketball and basically won by 30.

What a clown Mike Brown was.

I just didn't understand how he could mess this up so bad :man10: With a line up like this, any competent coach will win most of the time. But Metta and Ebanks as back up shooting guards? Flabbergasting! there is a reason that position has the word "shooting" in front of it.

I think like most Laker fans, the Doctor saw potato will never win anything. He was driving the team to the brink of destruction by overplaying his stars for regular season wins, not trusting and developing the bench. A recipe for disaster.

Honestly, this, this right here ^.
We have a team where every one of our starters can beat their man 1-1, it's just a matter of finding someone in the right position and allowing them to do what they do best.

Supposedly, Mike Brown made things too complicating, which is fine for our starters. They might not be playing to their full potential, but they'll pick things up pretty quickly. Our bench though... Our bench as a collective unit have pretty poor BBIQ. Mike Brown should have simplified things for them.

Other than that, I have no explanation for his nonsensical rotations.

Does anyone else think Ramon Sessions would have been more likely to stay if Mike Brown was fired the day we were eliminated?

No, the reason why he left is because he thought there was a chance he'll get traded.

I don't normally post in this thread but didn't want to start a new topic on this ....

Just curious did you guys notice that there seems to be a little coolness in the Bryant Howard relationship? I sure hope there isn't but reading Dwight's body language .... hmmm.

The starting 5 perimeter defense is the primary problem of this team ... Even with the wear and tear , Kobe can't be serious with the pathetic D he's playing... Duhon and Meeks played better and more serious D than Kobe and Blake ....

i'm sure it'll be okay. but i DID notice tonight dwight did the "cmon really" gesture to kobe after he didn't rotate over to help on defense. i don't think it was a big deal at all however

WMC: head coach intrigue remains.

No real WMC tonight except what's up with so many minutes for Morris, and so few for Duhon? Duhon played great once again. I want this guy in the mix.

It's so hard to gauge this team. The 3 wins we have are against the worst teams in the league and they aren't even at full strength.

Tuesday should be really interesting.
