Stafford? Dude needs to be investigated. Ridiculous call. Even in real-time you could see the ball was off of Anthony's hand. But this guy makes the same absurd call AFTER REVIEWING THE PLAY. What...in...the...F***!

Refs were utter garbage. Another epic win, though! I could get used to this winning stuff. Nash is so freaking great. Also slight WMC, we need to knock down those open looks from outside. If we do we win that game by double digits.

Melo and Kobe's hands were pretty close (not really, but let's throw them a bone) so i can understand the confusion, but what about melo's right thumb?

I don't care as much about Dwight's offense as I do Pau's. We NEED Pau to score 16-18ppg on this team and get back to creating in the low post. I'm hoping that dunk sparks his confidence.

What I want to see from Howard is just consistent dominance on defense. We can win with Dwight scoring 15ppg - we just need him to be pulling down ~15 boards and changing all kinds of shots in the lane.

As everyone else has said, the officiating was down right disgusting. I have seen some terrible calls in the 13 years I have been watching the Lakers, but that reviewed out of bounds call has to be top 5. Just retarded.

The calls down the stretch were atrocious. Even after reviewing the call they still gave the ball to the Knicks? If anything it should've been a jump ball. And that "foul" on Metta, I don't even think he touched him. Then that play where Gasol made the dunk, he clearly got hit by Kidd and Melo. This would've been a tough one to lose.

Well what other word do you use for wrong/bad calls being made on purpose to keep a game close for TV? Looking at a replay to get the call right and STILL getting it wrong? Anyone can see that's rigging going on, Kobe was in disbelief that they looked at it and still called it wrong. And those phantom fouls to get Ron out of the game? Wow. I'm not saying the refs were trying to make one team or another win, just that they were trying to make it a last possession game, makes for great Christmas day tv.

I just noticed. The way Anthony was trying to get space was the same way Dwight was trying to get space last game during the 1Q. One was ruled an offensive foul, the other gets rewarded with an undeserved possession. Seems legit.

The last two games have seemed even more terrible than usual. It seems like they are literally trying to handicap us. Sucks.

I was worried about the minutes. I could understand it against GS because you had 3 days before playing NY. Now, they have a game tomorrow, not to mention it's at Denver...

I use two words. Poor officiating. I mean, if you could prove that the calls were made incorrectly on purpose then I would use the word rig. But they could have done some other things on subsequent (or prior) plays to keep it even closer and they didn't. For instance, they could have called a foul on Howard when he stole the ball on the play after the horrific review.

The calls were horrendous today, really bad, but, that is all they were.

So calling a play incorrectly after viewing it for 2 minutes on replay and seeing what the right call was is not make an incorrect call on purpose? Eh, I don't see it that way, but I don't really want to argue after a great win like this, in the end we agree the refs were terrible, on purpose or not.

I would usually complain about the amount of minutes Kobe is playing, but sometimes during really important games it's necessary for your star players to do some heavy lifting. Today's game was one of those games.

I still don't like that in the previous 3-4 games before today's game that D'Antoni played him heavy minutes, and he absolutely has to get him some rest in the 2nd half of games now. We have Nash back now who is actually better at orchestrating this offense than Kobe is so there's no excuse to not rest Kobe more.
