WMC - only the turnovers. Boy did it feel good to get a win though. 32 more to go. They just need to turn it up, but play one game, one win at a time. It's an uphill battle but they've got to get at it. I liked Dwight's demeanor after the game. No smiles, no joking around, no mugging for the camera. He was all business. That's how it has to be going forward. Long uphill battle but anything is possible if you take it seriously and try your hardest.

I hope they stop the nonsense of two guys going up to block a shot, with the second guy coming in without a chance of blocking it.

It always end up in the other team getting an easy board and bucket because there is no one there.

Clark and D12 do it all the time. The energy is nice for sure, but let's use the ole noggin' once in awhile.

Dwight definitely goes for the home run block way too often

Turnovers got out of hand...on the other hand two things were much improved. Transition D was relatively good and Kobe's overall D. Kobe is much better on ball when he has to focus. Dwight (and the Cavs) didn't hurt either.

too many turnovers. half were just kobe and dwight. i think against a good team we'd be dead with that many turnovers. fortuantely we shot really well but if theyre not falling wed be screwed. loved the intensity and effort on both ends. kobe set the tone and clark and dwight patrolled the paint very well with active legs and communication. we take care of the ball and play like that and well start winning games. hope it continues...

clark has been solid. looking VERY under control out there and letting the game come to him. his passing and defense is solid. not sure what pau can do more than clark at this point.

pau coming off the bench? might be good to do it the first game hes back and limit his minutes and if it works and looks good keep him at it. clark with 13/9/4/3 is very solid and im sure pau might be able to put up the same (minus the blocks) but his activity and athleticism on both ends with his efficiency is something pau can do next to dwight imo

Can't take too much pride from a win like this. Almost any other team in the league would have taken all the turnovers and turned our double digit lead into a double digit deficit. On top of that, you have the Lakers suddenly getting hot from three point territory again, which, if they could have maintained in the first place would have likely prevented that 6-game slide in the first place.

And even though the Lakers scored very well tonight, their defense was still pretty poor at times and they still gave up too many layups and dunks. It was only by the grace of playing the Cavs that they didn't convert on them as often as most teams would.

I'd love to believe that this win will be the first step in an eventual streak that puts the Lakers back in playoffs contention, but I've been fooled by this team too many times so far this season.

start Clark @ the 3 and bench Peace, since he likes to be a 1 man wrecking crew anyways on O, he'll get the green light again to chuck away.

The problem with Pau starting isnt the issue. Bynum and Gasol front line started for the first 6 min of the 1st and 3rd but Pau and Odom was the down the stretch front court.

In this case, Gasol getting put on the bench does us no good with Clark or Jamison finishing.

Either some miracle chemistry with Pau and Howard happens or the Lakers have to trade Gasol before the deadline. I do not see any other way.

Lakers has 22 turnovers. I do not know how a veteran group like this can be so bad with turnovers. It has to stop.

problem is is that metta is more comfortable with the starting unit bc he gets his shots his spots and knows where to be and where the passes are going. he looks way better in the starting lineup. imo clark should start at 4 and pau coming off bench for 4/5 sharing minutes with jamison at 4 and no one at the 5. clarks athleticism on O and D is better than Pau's ability next to dwight.

Not a lot of IQ and defensive discipline inside with D12 and Clark trying to block everything ... they were often out of position and gave up a ton of offensive rebounds ...

We beat one of the worst teams of the league on both sides off the ball so we can't overreact about our performance on O and D ...

We'll see how we do against a below average team ( pretty good on D ) on Tuesday

I like how Clark and Howard can play the pick and roll. Usually that kills us, I think Clark and Howard will gain chemistry protecting the rim as they get to each other.

Gasol for 6th man. He would be force feed the ball against back up bigs, and tired bigs. Should be good for 14-16 points
