Magic has so little credibility right now. Just a week ago he tweeted very solemnly that we'd miss the playoffs for sure.. You can't keep changing your tune like that. It all seems very impulsive and not really rational

The officiating is so laughable. You can tell even the Miami players feel embarrassed getting so many phantom calls by the way they look down to the floor after the calls.

this was a make or break game that we had to have

1-5. the officiating
5-10. turnovers
11. having to watch miami's defense compared to ours

Officiating was absolute trash. Kobe was absolute trash until the last five minutes.

And I still can't fathom how a professional basketball player AIRBALLS a free throw, especially at crunch time.

You'd think that the lakers have suffered enough with their losses. Why do the refs continue to kick us in the face?

Disappointing ending to the game. But I'm not disheartened by the loss. We played tough -just didn't get it done at the end. F the refs by the way. They were terrible the entire second half.

My WMC: Is going to be simple- The Heat got star treatment all night.

We made mistakes with too many turnovers and missed freethrows (Dwight ) but we played with the energy that we have shown for the last 3 games. We lost but I think the team has finally realized that they can win as constructed.

Pretty gross officiating. Airballed free throw. Nash chucking the ball out of bounds of the backboard. Just terrible late game execution. Course if we didnt turn it over 100 times maybe it wouldnt have mattered. Also do they call moving screens any more? If not why dont we have howard set them?

Nash...just plain horrible every aspect of the game.

It's hard to be too upset about this loss. Lakers were in it the entire way, and yes, they committed a ridiculous amount of turnovers against the best team in the league at converting turnovers into points, but they actually played respectable defense most of the night(though, a lot of their effort was wasted by last-second breakdowns) and their offense, while ugly and disjointed was still scratching and keeping them in it.

The game was lost by not being able to score in the final minute or so while allowing Miami to score 6 points in the same stretch. There were some bad calls, including a few minutes straight in the third quarter that seemed blatantly one-sided, but I think Miami can rightly complain on a few calls that went our way as well.

The team is clearly playing better though, closer to the ideal that we all imagined when this roster was assembled. Also, after seeing this game I no longer think Miami will repeat. It seemed like they had a very good chance on the outset, with the East being a bit weaker, but Miami is weaker too. Lebron may be playing some of the most all-around consistent and effortlessly great basketball of his career, but it's almost to a fault, the rest of the team, on a night like this(and they have had several in recent weeks) barely gets by.

I guess my expectations kind of bottomed out, but overall I'm just really not that upset about this game, could have been a lot worse, and other than the turnovers, the team really did a lot of things 'right' and better to where they should be playing.
