We don't deserve, basketball-wise, to make the playoffs. Take your being a fan of the team out of the equation. Just be a fan of the sport and not the team for a minute. Do we deserve to make the playoffs? Did we deserve to win tonight? No.

I'm not happy about this, but they'll make the playoffs. The lakers are better now than they were a month ago. I'll be ok with this lose. If they lose Friday to the Wolves, I'll be more worried.
How often do teams win Back to Back games?

How often do contenders lose to trash teams like Suns and Kings?

Nah we deserved to win tonight. They weren't as good as the last few games but everything was still clicking in a similar manner. That meltdown in the 4th was a direct result of Dwight getting injured. Without him our defense is tissue paper and they lost all their composure.

Mike Trudell @LakersReporter
MWP was 0 for 4 in the 4th Q; Nash 0 for 1; Kobe 3 for 8; Howard 0 for 1; Clark 0 for 2; Gasol 1 for 3; Jamison 2 for 2; Blake 0 for 1.

Any reason for concern?

Nash brings, exactly what Fisher bought with 10x the better results.
Fisher was a chucker and couldn't stop missing lay-ups.
if you don't recognize that fisher was clutch as hell and was instrumental in our two recent chips, you're just blind hating. now i love nash and think he's clutch too, but as far as i'm aware we have zero championships with him. i don't know what results you're calculating and how you've evaluated them as 10x better, but the proof is in the pudding. and as far as nash is concerned, that's still up in the air.
