West is now an absolutely ridiculous 49-21 vs. the East this year.

Raptors would be #4 seed in East. In West? #14.

Actually, it's even worse for the East... It's 55-21.

Seriously. If the FO doesn't bring all these guys back, I'm going to be ticked off.

In hindsight wondering if inserting Steve Blake during that run for better decision making down the stretch would have made a difference. Anyways, sucks that we gotta sit on this loss for four days.

We are not able to bring all our vet minimum players back, they are gonna get pay at least more than minimum I guess, my two priority are Wesley Johnson and Jordan Farmar that we must definitely keep for next season.

WMC: farmar hurt. pau sucks. would have liked to see blake in earlier instead of meeks bungling up a couple possessions. not that mad about this loss actually, our guys fought hard and came back. just wasn't enough

Lakers will take wait-and-see approach with Nash + Blake, their fingers firmly crossed that Nash looks good at practice this week.

In other words: we have no answer at PG right now, so Nash will have to do.

Confirmed what @Mike_Bresnahan initially reported that Steve Blake has hyper-extended right elbow.

I'd figured Blake/Nash would get injured, didn't see Farmar getting hurt like that....thought this position was pretty deep to begin the season.

I hope Kobe doesn't try to play hero and come back too early with our PG's possibly out.

All three have injuries.

Nash - Nerve Damage
Farmar - Torn hamstring - Out 4 weeks
Blake - Hyperextended Elbow - Jury's out on whether he'll miss time or not.

Thanks for the info, but I was thinking along the lines of "We've signed X to a ten day contract." We're going to struggle. :man6:

OH my... All of our PG's? :bang: :bang: :bang:

WE have a roster spot. We need to bring in a veteran of some type.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

So we might have no PG at all, great. Use that roster spot to fill a need.

I don't know what to say ... Playing a deep rotation should help minimizing injuries ....

The whole league can't stay healthy at all for three seasons minus SAS and Heat (which have the deepest rotations) ... Game is based on too much speed and athleticism I think

yeah ... if Kobe plays 35+ minutes a game and handles the rock as much as last season as soon as he return , it may be a disaster for his health

Blake's wife tweeted to say the elbow thing happened a week ago and "no one noticed" so it's old news.
