For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Just pathetic. We are running our offense through Sacre :disagree:

Jamison is not looking for his shot at all. He's just playing hot potato out there.

Our bench is too passive. All of them. We need someone to come out and be more assertive.

While our starters get their legs under themselves, they can't afford to support the whole team WHILE they figure each other out.

WMC: The entire team is too passive. Watching our starters down the stretch was strange. No one seemed to know what to do except for one possession where Dwight had a nice backdoor lob.

But in these plays it was weird seeing the entire team of All-Star's unsure of who should take the shot. You saw Nash feeling like he should take. You saw Kobe and Pau hesitate as well. Chemistry is going to be a problem, but it shouldn't be a question who gets the shots late in the game.

You cant have 5 bench players in at the same time!!!

- Jamison is starting to worry me a little, not much going for him
- Steve Blake still sucks. 1st half our bench didn't look bad but 2nd half with Blake at point they were atrocious and Kings had too much momentum and we couldn't overcome it
- 20 + turnovers
- Missed boat load of free throws

Pretty much, I'd add way too much princeton offense and too little Nash P&R.

We got Nash at the point and the best shot we could get is a Kobe fadeaway 3 ... Sums up the offense through the whole game : a waste of one of the best offensive PG of all time ...

I know it's preseason but a very weak bench and a very poor coach seem too much to overcome to win a title

My WMC: 20+turnovers, bad bench play, and another weak 3rd quarter. Glad it's still preseason what with these problems. Hope they get it figured out.

Howard played decent on offense, missed a bunch of free throws (if he had made 50% we wouldn't have been in desperation mode at the end). His defense was not that good with the exception of the blocks..... he was out of position a few times and let Cousins work him for quite a few offensive rebounds.

The team looked about the same as last year on a total defense measure. Rotations were slow or not there at all and the perimeter defense was it's usual self.

MWP again looked good.

Kobe over passed in the first half and under passed in the 4th quarter.... a couple times he dominated the ball when he should be letting Nash do what he does best.

Pau had his most assertive game of the Pre-Season and played pretty wall compared to his recent standards.

Jamison and the bench stink on ice right now.... not much to evaluate that isn't covered by that....

We need some time to gel and figure out the rotations. Kobe and Nash didn't mesh very well in this game.... Nash ended up standing at the perimeter too often and we didn't run more than 3 real pick and rolls all game....

Biggest WMC: the turnovers. It was just so clear that they aren't used to each other. Dwight was lost offensively much of the night. Guys were just kind of running into each other and things were just too crowded.

But what was strange was that it seemed crowded down low AND outside.

At the end of the day it was a VERY good showing for Dwight Howard. Even with his problems, his natural talent shone through and he looked pretty good out physically out there. His timing is certainly off, but he hasn't played since April so no surprises there.

All our starters play heavy 30+ minutes in the game and we still lose :man12:

Cousins went for 16 and 6 with only 3 offensive rebounds, he didn't work Dwight in his 30 mins of action. if anything Dwight worked Cousins, Dwight has 12 rebs and put Cousins in foul trouble with 5

I hope they just let Nash be Nash when the games start to count, rather than force-feeding the Princeton when they obviously aren't comfortable with it yet.

Oh, and the bench still sucks. I'm especially disappointed with Jamison thus far. Brown can't run 5 subs at a time.
