As I've been saying for quite a time : both starting forwards have to go

last play was completely broken down, not sure what peopled wanted pau to do. the play should have never to get the ball to pau in the corner.

it's not his fault, he got put in a position to put up a shot.

This were just a poorly draw up play by the Lakers during the crunch time, Popovich is the different maker here in this game.

really? hitting a couple of wide warm up jumper corner 3's and hitting open fast break lay ups really ups his trade value?

lol it just sounds crazy, i dont understand why we gave morris the contract and had others fight for that roster spot, because goudlocke does everything morris doues, just better when hes out there.

there isn't anything more "point guard like" or "defensive" about him that makes him earn a spot before glock

Well, considering he hadn't been hitting corner threes or making layups, yes, doing so would up his trade value, even if it's not by much.

GOOD GAME! Very encouraging to think that we are still trying to figure things out against a "very well-oiled machine" like this Spurs team. Defense was great, and the energy off the bench was incredible. I am very sure this team will flourish in Mike D'Antoni's system. Oh did I mention that we are still missing Steve Nash and his backup?

Pau is the scape goat like he always is. The win would have been nice but this early in the regular season it's basically meaningless. We played a ton better against one of the best teams in the league. We're improving and that's what matters right now.

I really think Metta messed up on the play, because both Kobe and Pau were talking to him after the game ended. Pau should have seen it was broken, and called a timeout though. Just a bad way to end it.

think about where we were a week ago versus this game, we should all be thrilled how much better we look. and all of this is without us having a real system, it's just guys playing street ball essentially.

1. Meeks is horrible. If he can't play decently, Kobe's going to play too many minutes.
2. Coaches need to work with Howard on not getting stripped
3.MWP - stop shooting so much

pretty much, but you know the over-reactors on this board will blame everything on pau. apparently he's in the 10th percentile of players the way some people act on here.

I was just re-watching the replay of the last play. IMO it just looks like whatever play they were trying to run was just executed poorly.

I think Metta was supposed to set a screen for Kobe to get open, but instead ran behind the line.

We're 3-5 with 6 games at home ... at one point , we'll have to start winning games and stop talking about expectations , gel time ect ... it's the freaking Western Conf , a top 4 seed could be out of reach in little time

Yep, guess I'm overreacting on his piss poor defense, inconsistent effort, and sub 40% shooting from the floor. This is a guy who shot 60% at one point...

Yeah, I think you're right. Webber and Greg Anthony were just on NBA TV talking about how someone should have set a screen to get Kobe open.

his effort has been fine, i haven't seen him or any of the guys not caring out there.

he's also being pushed further out on the floor, starting last year with the emergence of bynum and now with dwight. there's not enough room and he's being asked to float outside, probably more than he should but that's where he's spending more time now.
