We lost to a Cavs team that got this from their bench.....

6 points / 2-15 FG / 8 boards / 5 assists / 2 steals / 1 block / 2TO - Total 56 minutes....

Add in one of their starters who played for 34 minutes / 1 point / 10 boards / 0-3FG....

AND THEY STILL SCORED 100.

We're essentially playing with 2 legit starters (And no, MWP is NOT a starter. Not on a championship team...dude is way too inconsistent and his athleticism is a joke).

I still think trading Pau is the right move. We need youth at the 3 and the 4. A go-get-it tandem of guys who give a f*** and want to prove a point.

The Duhon/Morris rotation.

Opposing guards expend no energy defending these guys. Duhon brings a little bit in the half court, but he gets destroyed on defense. Morris is just a disaster.

It's so bad that Steve Blake sounds amazing right now.

I am beyond frustrated with this team. I should not let it bother me so much. too invested. I was just so excited to see nash and howard with Kobe.

On the one hand, like I said earlier, not many teams are expected to win without their starting and back up point guards. Knicks without Felton and Kidd? No way. Spurs without Parker? nets without D. Will? Clips without Paul and Bledsoe?

So, struggling is expected. We are running out Duhon and Morris for God's sake.

But on the other, I would expect that we could hover around 500 and beat Indy, Utah and others at home. We are 9-13 with a home-heavy schedule. Yikes.

I blame the FO for not surrounding the main guys with experienced vets. Too much money invested, and given to Mike brown, to be cheap. Pietrus and West should have been on this team weeks ago. Clearly Ebanks and Morris and DJO should not be on this expected-to-contend team. Stupid Jim Buss.

MWP needs to focus on D. He can shoot that WIDE open 3 im okay with that. But anything else is too much for him. He needs to play good solid high energy D all game and get back. Thats all you have to do, which is exactly what he still can do.

Past few games i havent seen the fire and energy that were so used to seeing from him.

Don't even know where to start...turnovers at the top of the list. Missed FTs kill the team as well. Offense...not sure what they are running but between the chucking 3s and TOs leads to the final nail in the coffin transition D. At least with haq-a-shaq he not only punished the other team he got the whole team in foul trouble...Dwight not so much...not sure why...though Howard's game is unbelievably raw. And Dwight...your FTs do cost wins.

Coach ...I mean this is like the Knicks were last year. Kept saying they'll figure it out...is Mike Woodson available.

I don't know I really didn't think it would take this long. Should have traded Gasol last year when you had the chance....now nobody will want him.

We also have no backup SF...I have given up on Ebanks...the 3rd & 4th string PG are BAD...Morris needs to head to a permanent stint in the d-league. Meeks & Jamison are chuckers...Hill can't shoot at all...and Dwight...man child never learned how to play basketball....Kobe playing just about the entire second half again.

If I didn't know better I swear I saw Smush, Kwame, Luke trotting out there tonight.

I actually feel bad I missed the game, even though they lost. I feel like it's somehow my fault, because I missed the game, and am not doing my job as a fan. Finals are killing me, though. If next game is on thursday, I will likely miss that one too.
