I'm getting close to the end of it. A losing team is one thing. A team that doesn't give an F or have any direction is another thing altogether.

^^^thats probably what FO imagined this team would be but forgot that this team is full of old legs and scraps compared to those young/talented legs

This season is so colossally bad, I fear it might have long-term ramifications, especially with this new ownership. Like, a 10 year drought of missing the playoffs or not making it past the first round.

It's gotta have some sort of psychological effect on the players, the FO, the personnel, and just the overall image and reputation of our franchise.

When you have Sasha and Luke posterizing people... you know that team has to win some games.

With Odom, Farmar, 'Riza, Brown and a younger Kobe there was plenty of athleticism. That bench could run and gun when necessary. Pau was a beast.

Apart from Kobe, nearly everybody on this roster is either old, washed-up, a scrub or, in Dwight's case, a big question mark.

I always wondered why there so much hate for Farmar, Shannon....those 2 guys tried hard for this team, they had faults but they brought it more often then not. I jump on the hate wagon for farmar and a bit with Shannon but dam compared to the crapfest we have now, its a dam shame

At this point ,I believe the Lakers will have there worst record EVER in LA.
I don't even see them winning 30 games.

We will finish suffering through this year and next, and then can create a new post Kobe future!!

I just want to say that it annoys me that people keep saying Dantoni needs to adjust and change his system or whatever for these players.

Why does it annoy me? Because why the f bomb did we sign him if he needs to change his system? Honestly, I think we hired him because we thought slowing it down with Brown wasn't working so we went the complete opposite way and that isn't working either.

So now we hired Dantoni, to play a variation of ball that more resembles what Mike Brown was doing, except, at least MB was preaching defense? Argh.

Odom and Ariza were our "glue" guys. You need those for every championship team. They pick-pocket, gain us extra possessions, and can find ways to score when nobody else can.

We don't have any "glue" guy on our team.

Clark comes close, but still makes rookie mistakes. Not a veteran like Odom. Jamison is neither as consistent nor as good of a defender as Odom.

I think the fewest was 19, so it's still possible.

I hope Kobe finishes out his contract, but what are our chances of providing him with a championship-caliber
supporting cast now?

Yeah, you could say Fisher was our glue guy in terms of team morale and locker room presence. Maybe "glue" isn't the best word for Ariza. Instead, he's "someone who makes the game easier for us."

Well aside from the team we do need a WMC on the officials. I mean at least a mugging should get a call...I guess not when it's Kobe.

None. The chances of building a brand new, successful team are good. But chances of giving Kobe (under his current contract) a championship-caliber team are non-existing. Only in a year and a half if he wants to sign for cheap and be a second (and third) fiddle and a locker room presence.

Pretty much everyone from Player 1 to 15 and the coach and FO have goofed up this year. They're all to be equally blamed. Efff this season LOL

But Im not gonna stop watching these games. Theyre too much fun
