WMC 12/13: Mercy kill. (0-4)

Didn't catch the whole game but liked what I saw. Fought hard and didn't fold in crunch time.

On to the next one...

I'm not whining, moaning, or complaining tonight. Great game...

Just offensive rebounds, gave up too many. I can kinda see it with Dwight and Metta out, and them having hustle bigs like Humpries and Evans though, so not a huge deal. Other than that my WMC is the refs LETTING Evans and their bigs hold our guys going for rebounds, it's no wonder Evans is so good at getting them.

we won...but at the cost of Pau.

Brook "Soft" Lopez looked like a prime Hakeem Olajuwon against us - 30 points, 11 rebounds, 3 blocks

Too many offensive rebounds allowed..
Didn't liked the officiating (particulary on Evans, dude was holding and grabbing everyone on the offensive glass, foul was never called)
Effing injuries. I can't believe how unlucky with been in that department this season. I guess in some ways it's logical since we are an older team with guys with a lot of mileage on their bodies, but still, we've had way too many injuries, some of them "freak" injuries. Just terrible luck.

I think Gasol is gonna miss 2 months unfortunately... I hope the Lakers don't rush Howard back.

Houston has put up 130+ on GSW tonight and the game is still going on.

Doc, my WMC for tonight is the Rockets POUNDING the Warriors....i was counting on the Warriors to help us out...didn't happen, and we remain the same distance from the 8th seed as we were before tonight's game...

Also, Pau getting hurt, and way too many offensive rebounds thanks to the refs swallowing their whistles.

Houston's next 7 games are pretty difficult. I wouldn't be surprised if they went 2-5 during that stretch

I was watching when the Lakers game was on time out and things like that, they made 14 threes in the FIRST HALF. They scored like 77 points in that half.

Lakers just can't seem to catch a break this season at all. Things are finally looking better overall as a team(they 'should' be on a 7-game bump right now save for that PHX game) while injuries keep mounting on top of an already injury plagued season. It's frustrating to watch because if they continue to improve they really could be a legitimate upset waiting to happen in the postseason, but they're in such a deep hole and things keep going wrong and there is no guarantee this bright stretch will last... Just hard to be anything but FRUSTRATED with this entire season.

Pau being injured worse than I thought and possibly missing a lot of time takes away a lot of my optimism and excitement after this win.

From the lower region of the body where the waste material is discarded is my guess.

I agree however, I'm excited to see Clark expand his game even more with Gasol sidelined.

Same here. We just can't catch a break.
I can't think of teams who suffered more injuries than what we have this season. It's been atrociously bad for us in that department.

That stupid swing through that Lopez did twice tonight. They banned that crap.

Sacre the only center healthy.

For the 1st time all year every single player from starter to bench tried their hardest out there it was great to watch. I hope MWP and Dwight can bring that intensity and team spirit when they come back.
