That's true. Can't believe i'm actually happy about that....but hey, I think at one point we were 12th? or 11th? Or we were something ridiculous....I'll take 9th for now....as long as we keep winning, we'll put more pressure on the teams ahead of us, and maybe they'll start feeling the pressure...and CRUMBLE under pressure!!!

Under the circumstance, it would have been inconceivable NOT to put a beat down on the C-bags.

In response to some posts in the optimistic thread, yeah, we looked good, like a real team, but lets not go crazy. This is the same team that just got destroyed by the Clippers. Also, Boston is small as hell and worse off than us even when it comes to injuries. It was a fun win, but it means little other than our chemistry and defense looked better. And part of the defense IMO was that even as small as we are we're bigger than them. When we play great teams with quick guards and big frontline a we will get beat on the boards as usual and beat in general, we are small and made moves to help, even for a tall guy with 6 fouls to give.

At one point last night, ESPN showed Rivers calling the Lakers as "front runners" and IF they pared down the lead to ten, they would win. Breen commented that it wasn't to disparage the Lakers but to fire up his team. Yeah...sure...whatever.

Good points. The size factor definitely played a part. BUT, I will say this. We got smashed by the same team two weeks ago in Boston. Granted we were at home last night, but if it was the home momentum, our issues are in a large part, mental.

Dwight looked phenomenal last night after getting destroyed in Boston against the same front line. Our team defense was incredible.

Kobe played a poorer game last night and we still beat them convincingly. It looked like we had somewhat of a game plan. It looked like guys are now knowing where their teammates are on the floor. Nash is starting to really find his guys. If not for anything else, at least we are showing signs of starting to gel. Even if it is too little too late. I refuse to believe this was a fluke. I really think if we can do this once, we can do it again.

I also don't think it's a coincidence that we win games when Dwight puts his stamp on the game.

Everybody stepped up for 24 whose game was stuck in neutral. Clark boarding it up. Howard on the post. Nash taking his share of shots as I've been wishing him to do. World Peace canning some though he did not chuck it up like he usually did.

Thanks bro. Im home now. Still have some pain but docs said it should be gone in a week. Finally have access to a computer, it drove me nuts not knowing what was going on around me

I seem to know who few of the assistant coaches are. Maybe they all haven't been around long enough but at least under Phil Jackson you always saw Frank Hamblen or Jim Cleamons get interviewed for some insight into the team - doesn't seem to be the case with this team.

What a win. The Blazers are infuriating when they won't go away. Shot after ridiculous shot. Lakers held together and Kobe made huge plays late

My WMC: I forgot about this game and didn't check anything about it. Glad they won, that's good.

The game against Denver on a back-to-back sucks. I believe we can beat Dallas but playing against Denver at home is always a challenge.

Yeah we happened to face Denver IN Denver twice on 2nd night of back to backs....i dont understand how that happened...

It seems like we ALWAYS play @ Denver on the 2nd night of a back to back. That's just messed up
