And part of the defense IMO was that even as small as we are we're bigger than them. When we play great teams with quick guards and big frontline a we will get beat on the boards as usual and beat in general, we are small and made moves to help, even for a tall guy with 6 fouls to give.
Good points. The size factor definitely played a part. BUT, I will say this. We got smashed by the same team two weeks ago in Boston. Granted we were at home last night, but if it was the home momentum, our issues are in a large part, mental.
Dwight looked phenomenal last night after getting destroyed in Boston against the same front line. Our team defense was incredible.
Kobe played a poorer game last night and we still beat them convincingly. It looked like we had somewhat of a game plan. It looked like guys are now knowing where their teammates are on the floor. Nash is starting to really find his guys. If not for anything else, at least we are showing signs of starting to gel. Even if it is too little too late. I refuse to believe this was a fluke. I really think if we can do this once, we can do it again.
I also don't think it's a coincidence that we win games when Dwight puts his stamp on the game.
