Yes i saw the game. I saw him not look to even pass on many possessions. Taking tough contested shots. Doesn't matter if they fall in. The point is to play team basketball and try to find the easiest basket possible. Kobe defeats this purpose.

Ty Lawson averages 3 turnovers a game, tonight 0 turnovers 20/11 last week 15/14 0 turnovers. PG defense beyond atrocious now

This loss feels like a nail in the coffin.
We were supposed to be desesperate. At home, against a team that isn't elite or anything close. We lose, again.
If we aren't winning THESE games, then we are MISSING THE PLAYOFFS.

I didn't think our roster would turn out to be so sucky.
D12 isn't nearly who we thought he'd be offensively, and defensively he's not as good as he used to be.
Gasol has played mediocre, inconsistent and often terrible basketball on both ends.
MWP has been very streaky from 3, which is the most important part of his offensive contribution
Nash was out like 50 days...
Kobe's D has been bad
Meeks has proven to be almost a dumb player that seemingly can't be relied upon to hit momentum 3s.
Jamison has been very dissapointing
Morris is garbage
Hill has been one of the few bright spots but he still makes dumb mistakes
Duhon is inconsistent

I no longer see this as "below .500 with THIS roster?!!". I think we've overestimated our roster a lot. Not saying it's below .500 quality, but it isn't elite either. We need consistency, and some of it just isn't a possibility unless we make personel changes. Trading Pau seems to be a good way to start.
Coaching has been terrible as well.

It's basically what this place has become. A couple of people who overly criticize Kobe and a few people who don't have anything better to do but pretend to be clever with their pedestrian sarcasm. It's embarrassing

What are the chances the FO blows it up if we lose the next 3? Not much of a reason to be paying 100 Mill on a roster that won't contend.

but to me, it's the remaining 46 minutes of the game that's the issue, leading to double digit deficits.

can't remember many games this season where we've been in any type of control of our opponent. everything is an uphill battle right now.

Didn't watch the game but on the radio it sounded like Kobe didn't do much till the end until they were down by 10 and needed him to take over.

Most of the game he deferred, which is why early he only had 2 points. Yes in the 4th when no one else was scoring he took over and made like 6 shots in a row. Otherwise they lose by double digits. I really don't think you watched the game or just hate Kobe so much that it's all his fault. Nothing to do with the defense of course.
