Yup typical reporter. Bash Kobe, then try to get coach to bash Kobe. Then bash kobe some more. The elite lvl reporter would have been able to throw Lebron's name in there somehow though.

Honestly, when Shaq was here, even when LA was down double digits I always had a ton of confidence in our ability to win.

Glad I got this game spoiled for me.

This is the most disappointing season of Lakers basketball ever.

I'm sorry, but I can't imagine the Lakers playing this bad under Phil. Not blaming D'Antoni, but that's all I'm saying.

I don't even want to watch the games anymore because it basically seems like only Kobe and Ron care out these as of late.

Dwight shoots a 59% (13-22) from the free throw line on a good day and Kobe shoots 57% FG from the field on an efficient shooting night yet we still couldn't beat the freaking Cavs, unbelievable !

Wow. I'm speechless after this game. Here I thought we would get a good start off to this roadtrip and we completely come out and lay an egg. Turnovers, free-throw shooting, we couldn't hit a three-point shot. We suck right now.

Watching the Spurs is truly amazing, the way the players play to perfection and go all out, I mean all out for their coach, it's simply incredible. They play as if they want to satisfy him & when they make a mistake they know he's staring at them so they run up the court with their head down for disappointing him.

With that said, neither Brown nor D'Antoni have brought that to this team, Phil was at least respectable.
I have not seen a Laker team as unpredictable as this one, considering the talent, I think ever...

I know the issue was defense, effort, and turnovers. BUT on offense when we need a bucket it's just Kobe ISO (as usual) but how come we don't run PnR and actually hit Dwight on he role. we NEVER do and he just runs deep into the paint, we shoot some bad shot, and he can't get a rebound.

I'll never abandon my Lakers, not when Kobe leaves or if we decided to clean out the entire front office for a new one, I'll still be a Lakers fan. However this team is just not clicking, I would have thought we could at least gotten a win against the Cavs, but we're so bad we can't even beat them. I don't even think we're good enough to beat the Wizards.

Don't forget about the Rudy T era, and the circumstances surrounding it. Very similar to this crap season. Common denominators:

1. Kobe playing his heart out more than anybody on the team;
2. Jimmy picked the head coach.

I think we know where this season is heading.

No longer disappointed. I've recalibrated my expectations for this team. Get everyone back healthy and at some point in this season, play inspired beautiful basketball, enough to give everyone a glimmer of hope, specifically Dwight. Realistic objective for this season was to do enough to get Dwight to re-sign. Winning a championship as we know now was a pipe dream.

Turnovers and free throws are pretty much killing our team. Its the little things that make a big difference. This is gonna ruin our season because our defense was great today in 2nd half. Our offense was shaky but it did alright vs CLE, we just couldn't hit key free throws and we turned the ball over too much. Story of the season. Pau and Nash will solve that issue I have no doubt in my mind. Less turnovers + higher FT% = better team. RIght now their margin of error is so slim especially when the bench is not hitting their 3s and being efficient on offense

WE have to improve our free throw shooting and cut down turnovers. WE have to.

both teams made all of these huge free agent acquisitions. jesus i'm bad luck lol. both of my teams had me hyped with their signings and both jumped off the deep end

I think even with the defensive problems we can win. the chemistry and trust and knowing their team. Having Nash back will give us timely baskets and organized offense when we need it. Pau will help too as Hill rebounded but didn't do much offensively when Jamison struggled
