I have really nocited mediocrity seems to become accepted in Lakersland ... from management to medias .
I understand there is the reality of being capped out for next season ( + no draft picks ) but I can't say I like this "feeling" which seems to float around our organization ... might be just my impressions though
^^ This is creeping into my mind as well. Started with the Mike Brown hiring, honestly, and then Jim Buss's endorsement of him this season, saying he wasn't worried until he lost 15 in a row or something.
Feeling continued with the D' Antoni hire and the passing on Phil, Jerry Sloan and McMillan.
Feeling continued with the PR aftermath following that hire: Mitch telling the Lakers fan that the FO doesn't care what they want and think is best.
Feeling continued with not using the Jordan Hill injury exception to pick up a player who could help us despite a ton of injuries going around this season.
Feeling continues now with the FO statements that they will stand pat with this current roster and the coach.
I'm concerned in other words.
Who knows though, maybe the FO is currently bluffing?
