WMC 12/13: Mercy kill. (0-4)

I guess we can add Phoenix to the list of places we get routinely smashed.

Denver, Portland, Utah, Sacramento... No matter how good or bad their overall record. That's 10 automatic losses per year.

Maybe not cost us but he didn't give our team much of a chance. I don't know why he does this. I mean he can't be this ignorant can he?

i'd like to thank kobe and his ballhogging ways for sparing me from more games like last night's. at least kobe's bad shots not going in makes sense. how an entire team full of professional basketball players can miss that many wide open shots is truly flabbergasting. flabbergasting, i tell you!

Chicken or the egg. Did Kobe shoot so much because he saw that no one could hit their shots, or could no one hit their shots because Kobe went away from team ball which took them out of rhythm?

Last night was indicative of the team needing a player that can create, take command and try to will his team into the game even if he has to shoulder the burden to the consternation of some fans. Oh wait...

I understand we have a terrible 11-14 on our squad, but I still think our starters could have used more rest.

Duhon and Morris are still good shooters.

Morris and Ebanks can play better defense than a tired Nash and Jamison.

Sacre, well, can't say too much. :man11:

Not that we should have put them all in at the same time, but in spots minutes it can be effective to preserve energy. Playing an old Spurs squad 39 mins a game b2b would be suicide for them.

Did some people really believe that we are better off offensively without Kobe? Sick and tired of going over to the Kobe thread nowadays. You'd think you were in another team's forum when you're in that thread.

kobe needs to rest the ankle. the issue last night was minutes management the night before. D'Antoni needs to play more than 7 guys deep. especially when they play 5 games in 9 nights. dude can be so clueless sometimes.

This loss was a direct result of Mike 2 going 7 deep. Our bench is not world beaters but I don't think we have much choice here.

No. I don't think anybody believes that.

I do however, think some people believe that we are better playing as a team, than we are when we are overly dependent on a single player for offense.

There's so much to whine and complain about and the game isn't even over. It'll take too much time, screw it

I just hope EVERYONE on the team watches tape from this 2nd half. All 24 minutes of the suckfest it was.

WMC:
just pathetic. i know we're "re-integrating" kobe and pau but...

WAY too much kobe vs. the world down the stretch...esp with an ankle that's not 100%. show some friggin trust in your guys late in the game. esp when you were doing it so well early...

costly turnover by MWP late with his patented drive-and-bowl-people-over move

ariza with career high 3's made...against us. salt in wound.

Worthy's right. That was painful to watch in the second half. Should have played Easy Earl in the second half.

WMC: Making the playoffs remains in doubt after that horrible second half, and the idea of some miracle run to the championship took a serious blow after the excessive ineptitude displayed tonight.

Also, MDA continues to show why he is not the right coach for this team, after finding a way to waste a crucial timeout with 36 sec left in the 3rd quarter out of pure emotion.
