I think Kobe going down pretty much eliminates any chances we had.. he was the only guy who could create for himself, consistently demand double teams, and our go-to guy in the clutch. Nash isn't healthy and all the other guys, in different degrees, have been inconsistent.
I read on twitter that Kobe represented 33% of our offense.. I imagine that's even higher in the clutch
I think we are gonna make the playoffs, but I think OKC will probably take us in 4 or maybe 5.
However, it should present a great opportunity for management to look at our guys and how they react to the even brighter lights, and with no Kobe, and start thinking about who's staying and who's getting traded or bought out or whatever.
Should also provide some perspective on Dwight and if he's got the ability to be THE guy on the LAKERS or not
