Pau's D was horrendous but it was mainly Duncan being a force of nature. at one point he was 10/11 for the game and about half of his shot were long mid-range jumpers.

If anything, this Lakers postseason has shown that @dariusmorris4 should be a keeper.

Maybe he's confusing Morris and Goudelock?

Good looking stats in a blowout don't mean ish ...

I have really nocited mediocrity seems to become accepted in Lakersland ... from management to medias .

I understand there is the reality of being capped out for next season ( + no draft picks ) but I can't say I like this "feeling" which seems to float around our organization ... might be just my impressions though

Lol Morris is trash, if we're relying on this guy to play big minutes next season (as in anything more than garbage time) that means we're lottery bound from game 1.

^^ This is creeping into my mind as well. Started with the Mike Brown hiring, honestly, and then Jim Buss's endorsement of him this season, saying he wasn't worried until he lost 15 in a row or something.

Feeling continued with the D' Antoni hire and the passing on Phil, Jerry Sloan and McMillan.

Feeling continued with the PR aftermath following that hire: Mitch telling the Lakers fan that the FO doesn't care what they want and think is best.

Feeling continued with not using the Jordan Hill injury exception to pick up a player who could help us despite a ton of injuries going around this season.

Feeling continues now with the FO statements that they will stand pat with this current roster and the coach.

I'm concerned in other words.

Who knows though, maybe the FO is currently bluffing?

Emplay has lost his damn mind. Morris had 2 years in college and now 2 years in the NBA and he's shown minimal improvement, he is what is he, and he is NOT a keeper. We could find a better 3rd string pg by throwing a dart at a list of free agents taped to the wall.

I hope he made that tweet after a few barley pops and will retract it in a fit of sobriety any minute......

Or he simply misspelled the name Goudlelock as M-O-R-R-I-S. That happens, those are very similar names.

these refs ha been beyond terrible this series. like really screwing the lakers over. they just want the lakers out ASAP so they can give the spurs as much rest as they can to face better teams

In West, anyone will support Clippers ? Since OKC lost Westbrook, I don't think they are a threat now.

Here's a WMC: Rotoworld ran the headline "Parker destroys Lakers"...
Tony Parker breezed past the Lakers' make-shift starting backcourt for 23 points, three rebounds, four assists, two steals and zero turnovers on 9-of-16 shooting in just 26 minutes of Sunday's 103-82 blowout win over the Lakers to complete the first-round sweep.

Is that "destroying" a team? Oh, F*** the Clippers.

This is the worst season in all my years as a fan.

I don't know where to go from here. Dwight is as good as gone, and at this time I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing. Not sure who will bite on Pau's 19 million. At least he gave his all out there, even if his body failed him. I'm glad the crowd showed their appreciation even if people around here don't. I'm not optimistic about Kobe coming back from an injury that no other NBA player has been able to come back from and play at the same level. Our D leagers played hard today but they're still D leagers. Oh and we're way over the cap.

Basically we're gonna suck for the foreseeable future.

I need a drink.

Me, too, Jazzy. To miss the playoffs would have been the ultimate embarrassment. Given the casualties, this sweep was understandable. I'm very proud of them making it in though. But I want this embarrassment of a coach gone . . . like tomorrow.

Or it's Mitch's typical statement to gain leverage in trade negotiations by publicly expressing confidence in his roster.
