During the 7 game stretch w/o kobe last season, the lakers went 5-2 with a win at san antonio under MIKE BROWN with ANDREW BYNUM, PAU GASOL and no bench.
Now with Pau out, the lakers are 1-4 in the last 5 games with MIKE D'ANTONI, KOBE BRYANT, DWIGHT HOWARD, and more or less the same bench.
Yes it's only a small sample, but no way should a team with 2 top 5 players at the start of the season, even with all the injuries, should not be playing this bad.
Yes Pringles is not a good coach, we know that, but that's no excuse when Mike Brown, last year, did better with worse talent and Vinny Del Negro has the clips at 14-6 this season.
The stars on our team have to look at themselves because top 5 players make their teams play better then under .500 ball, regardless of whose on the roster. It's even worse when you have 2 of them on the same team.
