By the way the Celtics are 4-0 since Rondo got hurt so they wont be a pushover either. We need to win this Brooklyn game

The Celtics blew a 25+ point lead against the Clippers... I think we have a better shot of stealing that game then the Brooklyn one.

Well, we blew another 18 point lead, the offense went stagnant, and missed important shots/FT's down the stretch. We have absolutely no interior defense when Howard is out at all; 52 points in the paint for Detroit.

You could see this lead slipping away and why too. We were playing hard, attacking, trying to knock them out. Then we got up 18 and started walking the ball up and relaxed, we acted like we were up 18 with 5 to go in the 4th, not half the 3rd quarter left. These guys have to learn to keep pushing no matter how much time is left.

This is a win that felt like a loss. We need to stop giving away leads. We didn't deserve to win after todays performance. It was disgusting.

We didn't protect the paint, we eased up once we had the 18 point lead, and then couldn't make clutch free throws. We were really lucky to get the win.

The lack of a viable bench to give the 30-somethings a legitimate chance to rest is a huge problem and is, in part, the reason for our second half troubles.

Second issue. The change in offense to having Kobe being the initiator off the weak side has been great for the rest of the team but is leaving Kobe with difficult shots most of the time.

The last point is..... Nash?!.... Really?....

this was a moral loss. i'm ok with it, as the lakers need to make up for some moral victories with some games that they win but shouldn't have.

i'll take a road win however it comes these days.

one of many concerns i still have: pau, despite improving lately, still looks like he aged 10 years over the past 6 months. it's weird to watch him move so poorly out there.

kobe looks like he's starting to break down again, too. not much explosion. kyle singler kept him out of the paint in isolation on several occasions. that's...unfathomable. i'm not sure singler can keep me out of the paint.

I don't know, Abeer. When you BLOW on the road, and you've just won back to back, I see it as a lift. Yeah, they'll kick themselves for how it happened, but they'll know that they've won two in a row on the road. That will give the team a lift.

Almost deja vu. We could be down 2 games in the lost column because we keep blowing leads. Or we could be undefeated on this road trip if we didn't blow so many leads.

Look at the bright side.....

We could be the team down by double digits and coming back only to lose (Us in the beginning of the season).

I'll take any type of win right now and move on. It's a whole hell of a lot better than getting a loss.

Seeing him live for the first time in about 18 months the other night in Phoenix it was remarkable how much he's slowed down. Night and Day is all I can say.....

For me, prime Kobe whose last season was during the last championship was able to bail out the whole team with his play. He was able break down the defense at will and score at will to keep the team in competition during close games. He helped cover Pau or other teammates not showing up from time to time or failing during the clutch.

The aging Kobe of today and the last 3 years can only do it spurts now so the margin of error is low for the team. Kobe can't bail out the team all the time like he used or else the Lakers would have a better record. His temmates have to do a better job of executing since the margin of error is lower and have to be able to come through the clutch more than they used to.

They're getting better. At least the Lakers are getting 18 point leads to lose... this is a HUGE IMPROVEMENT over weeks ago. Let's enjoy seeing this team improve ever so slightly...

It was nerve racking, but I'll gladly take the W vs. another loss. We played very well for stretches at least. We definitely took our foot off the gas. Like everyone else I was completely shocked by the Nash misses. Been that kind of season I guess. Luckily it didn't kill us.

Clippers are good even w/o Cp3, Pho and Det not so much.

We beat Brooklyn in LA earlier during the Bickerstaff era.

It's going to come down to keeping them off the boards and containing D Will. Who they gonna throw at him, Kobe? Clark? Metta??

JJ will get his. Worried about Lopez if no Dwight.

We have to win tomorrows game in Brooklyn, Kobe is probably gonna struggle, Gerald Wallace guards him pretty good. Need to contain Deron and rebound the ball. Reggie Evans is a monster on the boards so put a body on him. We might need someone like Nash or Blake or Meeks to drop 20 points to help Kobe out. Brooklyn has a pretty nice roster

We are 9-18 against the teams which are currently holding a playoffs spot :

1-11 on the road , 8-7 at home ...

Kobe, D12, Nash and Pau played all together only in 10 of these 27 games ( 4-6 record)

(Dwight missed 3 , Pau 8 and Nash 13 of them )

- Record with 3 of these 4 players : 5-5

( Kobe/D12/Pau : 4-5 , Kobe/D12/Nash : 1-0)

We played with only 2 of these 4 players in 7 games... we are 0-7 in these games

(Dwight - Kobe during 4 games, Kobe - Nash during 3 games )
