WMC 13/14: CL went down yet Coach D remains! ugh

Re: WMC 13/14: Well LBJ put on a dunk show! (18-34)

can we stop with the "We want Phil" chants. I mean we all love the guy, but its not going to happen. Phil might someday work with the team again in a management role, but his coaching days are over. Let's move on now...

And yes, I know Lakerjones wasn't suggesting we bring Phil back and just sharing what some fans at the game were saying, I am just making a general statement.

I think the fans will stop with those chants naturally when we move on and bring in a good coach that will take us in a new direction and make us forget this debacle. As long as we have this horrendous coach sitting there basically rubbing our noses in it the fans aren't going to be happy. And I include myself in there. I can't take another year of this imbecile.

Personally I would like the next coach to be sound at both offense AND defense and not just one of the two like these last two bozo hires.

We had too many costly turnovers in the 4th, missed too many free throws and missed too many open shots late. All that being said I got no complaints with the way we played tonight.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

We looked pretty good out there. We competed with the top team. It's still a loss at the end of the day but I like the potential we have.

That phantom flagrant that Harden got called in his favor was disgusting. The way he plays the game is a disgrace to basketball. Where is Ron Artest when you need him? I wouldn't mind seeing him receive the people's elbow again.

As of right now we don't have a dime to spend in free agency, until Pau/Hill's bird rights situation gets handled. I highly doubt Pau's 20 million dollar cap hold gets handled day 1.

In our worst season ever, we're still better than the Celtics.

Lakers are unlikely to sign any big free agent this summer. They are going to save their money for Summer of 2015 and 2016 when they have Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving opting out.

I can't understand why fans would cheer a laker victory against the celts when it doesn't help the laker franchise in the long run. That victory was counter-productive. From the perspective of the rest of the league. MDA is just the gift that keeps on giving.
