Nobody is saying he's the problem.
because i've seen numerous posters here saying that kobe is the problem or part of it
Well, there's a big difference between being the problem, and being part of the problem. I didn't think it was the case in the Clippers game though. He played a solid floor game.
Do I think he is a part of the problem in terms of why we're a sub .500 team? Yes. Do I think he is THE problem? No.
If you want a specific example... do I think his poor defense this season plays a part in our less than stellar record? Yes. Do I think his poor defense is THE reason for our less than stellar record, not at all.
At the same time, he is doing some things out there in terms of scoring that I think has helped this team. It's just about putting it all together.
I do think it is somewhat telling though, when you see plays like when Kobe passes to Dwight who has his back turned because he doesn't think he's going to get it and the ball goes out of bounds, occasionally off Dwight's head. And I may be wrong on this but, it feels like, to me, we haven't seen a Dwight basket off a Kobe assist in quite some time. I just think the chemistry is just not there between these two guys yet. Why exactly, I'm not sure but they don't seem at all like a dynamic duo to me.

tired of excuses.. These guys don't like each other or something..
so deflated.. Don't really care anymore.. Just pray Boston or heat don't win

yes is D has been pretty bad this season but who's D hasn't been bad aside from artest, hill, and dwight on some occasions? this team as a whole is atrocious on D, it's not just kobe

It's mind boggling. It's a statistical anomaly. It's like I'm living in a nightmare where the Lakers find ways to screw up the season while the Clippers are dominating and I can't seem to wake up.

I highly doubt that, everyone in the league knows what a baby Dwight is. Also, didn't Dwight top a lot of NBA's most hated players lists this offseason, because of his indecision and baby like ways? Players that come here know what they are getting into playing with Kobe, if they want to win they will deal with it, some even flourish with it. Especially those that value winning over having just having "fun", work hard, and aren't so sensitive, but know it's a job and deal with it like grown men.
