It's acceptable in a building year like this one where missing specific players isn't going to make us or break us.

If this crap was going on in a year we had championship aspirations, we'd be calling for the medical staff's heads way before now.

very upsetting since he was playing so well. really hope we resign him as hes so young and has a lot of talent. even with injuries our team would be different if he was still on the floor

Xavier Henry is having his R knee drained Wednesday and will receive a cortisone shot. He'll be out another 4 weeks, per the Lakers

Shut him down. Also, I believe he has a prior injury history with the New Orleans Hornets at only 22. Do we still re-sign?

:bang: Of course he's out another 4 weeks. Let's just make it 2 months since we'll probably get another update like that at that time.

Absolutely we should re-sign. He was one of the true bright spots this season IMO.

I know injuries are coming from different valid reasons ( old players/injury prone /rotation players playing starters minutes) but our "medical staff" can't be above reproach for 2 seasons now ...

Seems like another concern going forward ... great ...

Damn I thought X was out for the rest of the year. Forgot he was on the team.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

'Antoni mentioned Henry coming back at some point soon this season, back when talking about how it was going to be tough for everyone to get minutes soon. I'd like to see him back, even if inconsistent I like his game.

Im a big fan of X and hope we bring him back. I worry that he will try to do too much and get hurt again with his attacking style. We leaned too much on X when all the gaurds went down and at the rate Mike D is running players Im not sure X coming back is a good or bad thing.

I think with Meeks, Bazemore, Brooks, and then Young probably back after a few more games, plus Marshall and Farmar still healthy, minutes can be evenly distributed just fine. I'm not worried about X playing too much with that many available players, in fact I want to see him play to see if he CAN stay healthy before we re-sign him as he seems to have knee issues.

2 turnovers
23:12 minutes played
(6-15) FG
(0-4) 3PT
(+/-) = -8

Aside from Kobe, Hill, Farmar and Sacre, X is the only other guy i would bring back next year.

Assuming 'Antoni is fired, I'd be good with bringing back Farmar, Marshall, Henry, Young, Hill, Sacre, Kaman, and possibly Bazemore if he keeps us his defensive effort and shows us something to finish this season. Reason why is these are almost all cheap backups (IMO Farmar and Young are starting caliber depending on the rest of your starting lineup), which is a must for us, it's up to the FO to fill in the really good players worth more money from there.

The Los Angeles Lakers have recalled Xavier Henry from the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA D-League.

Henry played two games with the D-Fenders.

I just hope he doesn't take all of Brooks' minutes... I had to plug him in late in fantasy because of an injury. :man5:
