Yay for this 2 game winning streak.

Mods please delete if this is like an overlap (noticied that the mods on here like to run a tight ship) but I just think it's great that the Lakers look like they are finally going somewhere and also happy holidays to the true Laker fans that will support their team no matter what, even if this is a down stretch. There are plenty of "true" Laker fans out there they just get drowned out by the countless masses of Kobe fanboys.. I post on other general basketball site and it's a shame that a lot of the kobe fanatics give the whole Laker lot a bad name.

For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

hey, road wins against the east haven't been easy to come by for the past couple of years, iirc. lakers lost to cleveland, washington, and philly last year. this year, they beat two of them! yeah, progress!
