I don't care if you are a PG or not. Every player on that court should know the shot clock.
There's a reason why PG's are referred to as the "floor general" It's the responsibility of the point, to know the clock, call the plays, understand the situation... that's why the best PG in the league might be MVP this year, that's why the best PG in the league over the past few years took his team to the finals, and that's why the best PG in our franchise history won 5 titles and went to the finals 9 of 12 seasons...
You are putting too much into it. I only refer to the shot clock.
Shot clock is out there for all to see. It's not that hard to see how many seconds there are. Therefore everyone should be capable of knowing the shot clock.
