You are correct.

I don't care what the reason are for keeping him in the starting line up, George must come off the bench for us UNTIL WE GET SHAQ BACK. He is useless on his own. Phil needs to start Luke, his court vision and passing ability is decades beyond him time.

Agreed completely.. only once Shaq comes back, I'd still bench him until he started producing again.

Hey.. we did bring it down to 20 in the end if it means anything. If only we'd stayed close and not broke down as we did in the 3rd (if Phil would have called a time out earlier during the King's run) with Rush's shooting and Walton's efforts in the 4th.. I think we seriously could have won in the end or came darn close!

let's compare:
George-25 minutes, 2-6 from the field, 4 rebounds, 4 points
Luke-15 minutes, 1-4 from the field, 1 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, 2 points

I think Russell should still come off the bench, because we need D off the bench

Phil needs to bench Devean. Luke's far more effective.

WOW!! Kareem Rush did some serious damage... 30 pts!!!! WOW is all I can say.. If only everyone else did at least half of what he put up. I'm still proud of the Lakers for what they accomplished w/ out the big 3 in the lineup. What do you guys think about putting Kareem Rush in replacement for George? That's my honest opinion... Rush is developing quite well.

I want to see how he does when Shaq comes back first, if he is still stinking it up out there, then replacing him wouldn't be such a bad idea, also remember...according to Phil Fox is going to take the starting spot back when he returns, hopefully that's soon because a can't stand to see a Shaq-less George out there.

But if Fox won't be back for awhile, then replacing George with either Walton or Rush would be a great idea
