Yeah.... what does that make Mitch then?.... he gave him a glowing review and said he isn't going anywhere.....

Roo, come on... we both know that coach choice has nothing to do with Mitch. All he says about that is a lip service.

It's nice to see our subs be able to sustain a lead instead of blowing it like earlier in the season.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

I don't disagree with that, but on the replay he was clearly not happy with him. We don't have the depth to be benching people for a bad shot, that would involve Ebanks coming in or the other starters playing big minutes.

:man3: .... why do you think that?.... A GM doesn't have a say in the coach?

Is that the same "lip service" he gave Dwight?

Jamison has gotten more comfortable, he's still horrible defensively but at least he's not a ghost out there anymore

Well the energy from the other night is not there tonight.

This looks like it's going to be a fight all night again....

Dwight puts it on the floor? That wasn't a bad move by D12..

I thought it was common knowledge that Jim is the one that makes personnel decisions, especial coaching choices. I even think there was an article on this.

Also, considering the latest Mitch interview on the differences between Jerry and Jim - I don't feel the respect and do feel some resentment.

It may just be me.

I think we have the energy just not as fluid as the other night. Portland just plays us tough (but I knw you know that). I think we are bringing it.

Dwight is long on almost all his FTs again, I don't understand why he can't correct this

8/8 from Dwight is very solid. In 12 minutes.

But I would like to see Nash doing more.

Hmm... I think the drama around the personnel and coaching choices is waaaay over blown. If Mitch wasn't making the decisions why have him..... or better yet... why stay if he's just a "figure head"? Only in Lakerville can every bad decision be made by the "Villain" and every good one be made by the "Hero"..... :man10:

Back to the game. Some effort by Howard and Jamison is playing well..... everyone else looks out of sync.

Our set defense has been decent tonight with the exception of a few pick and rolls....

Roo, last point, if you had a new boss just in the middle of nowhere, would you rage quite or shut up and wait for the right opportunity for you to bail, while still getting paid.
