Just like last night, we need to slow the game down some, rebound (STOP ALLOWING 2ND CHANCE POINT!!!), make our damn free throws, and feed Drew early and often. Play good D. No uncontested shots, eespecially from 3. They're going to try to get us into foul trouble and get techs, beat them to it. Get into their heads first.

Let's make the Nuggies rookie eat his words.

This is going to be a tough game for this team.

A few things to look for:

- Curious to see how Ron Artest plays Carmelo Anthony on the defensive end.
- What's Ty Lawson's impact going to be? I really hope our 2nd unit PGs do a good job of defending him.
- Will there be any scuffles between the players tonight? Last year's series was really physical and we already saw a couple of "altercations" in the pre-season.
- How will Bynum fare against Nene? This will be his toughest test in terms of strength thus far in the season.

I think if the Lakers keep it close, they can pull one out on the road with some clutch play down the stretch.

hopefully we won't need Trevor to steal an inbound pass or two.

But we will see about that ivestment with Ron. Trevor could not guard Melo, inside or out.

Kobe needs to put tons of pressure on them cause they have nobody who can guard him. nobody.

We need to match the energy of thier bench guys and not let Bird man get them rolling.

I think it will be a game of huge runs. Denver up early. Lakers up in 3rd or so. Then close at the end.

Melo hits what appears to be the game winner and then Kobe to LO for his first ever game winner. Lakes 107, Thugs 106

If it's gonna get physical, we need to hit those free throws.

indeed. there was a stretch last night where Drew missed 4 in a row, LO missed two, and Ron missed 4. Then Shannon made 1 of 2. was awful.

They need to focus on those free ones. I don't want a repeat of last year when they shot 28% on the second night of a back to back.

Come on Ronald! D the hell out of Carmelo!!!!!!!! Fish, shut down Chauncey like you did Nash. Kobe, no roaming of Afflalo, he will knock down 3's. Lamar, play like it's Game 5 and 6 of the WCF, Drew, attack Nene! Be aggressive offensively and defensively like you were last night.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to miss this game. Going out for a 21st birthday. Good thing I have those ESPN Mobile updates at the end of every quarter.

JR was just on the NBA gametime show and said that this is a huge game for Denver, they have been waiting for payback from the playoffs (George Karl said it too) and that he would foul out before letting Kobe score 60. He said it is going to be a rough game for Kobe.

Again, just another game for the Lakers, but the biggest game of the season for their opponent. Sigh

They just showed K-Mart arriving. I can't see him and not want to punch him in the face.

It worked last night so I'll say it again.... I' have a bad feeling.

I agree with some earlier posters - the word of the night that keeps coming to mind is: TOUGH. Gonna be a tough one, no doubt. Wish we had Pau, wish we had gotten more sleep (4 am arrival for the Lakers), wish it weren't high altitude. But it is what it is. Play hard!
