I'm worried to be honest, we barely scraped out a win at home, the Hornets crowd will really pump their team up. If we win the game we'll win the series though.

The crew has to weather the early energy New Orleans will display. Once things settle down, they can get their bearings and control the game. Normally the underdog team comes out to hyper leading to errant shots and bad decisions. They can't start slow like they have been the last two games.

The winner of the 3rd game of a tied series usually goes on to win that series, so we HAVE to win in NO on Friday. I expect us to play well with our backs against the wall, regardless of the outcome.

this team has made sure that everyone's confidence is shot.

In the past, I had no doubt the Lakers would win an important game. This year though, you never know what you get. Sometimes they will just mail in games that they actually WANT to win.

You're totally right KB24. The killer instinct just isn't the same. It's there, but it's no way close to what it was last year and where we want it to be. I'm with the earlier posters and I can't wait to blow these bugs out by 20 like we should be doing.

Despite their Game 2 non-statement win...I believe they would be fine at New Orleans since they are a very good road team. Good luck Lakers !!!

They're fine. You saw how hard the Hornets were working on offense. The Lakers weren't there offensively, but the defense was giving the Hornets fits. Pau still wasn't there and you saw how much harder Gray and Okafor had to work for everything. Lakers are winning this series with defense and honestlygonna do it if Pau shows up or not. Final Score: 95-85 Lakers

seems the Hornets have been awarded loads of free throws as compared to the Lakers....hmmmmm

Game one was even in a loss, game 2 was lopsided in a win, pretty ironic.

I'm gonna disagree. Call me a blind-faith-optimist, but I think Pau comes out strong in Game 3 for the very reason you think he won't -- the away crowd. It'll be so loud, he won't have a change to get lost in his head. Just play, Spaniard, just play. (I admit this is a gut call with no rational basis.)

i got butterflies in my stomach. so nervous. last time i was this nervous was last year's finals game 3.

Game 3's are always big in split series....I think the Lakers will come out focused.

Ding tweeted back that the Lakers PR has no official injury for Lamar.

Even if it were true, why is Khloe opening her mouth?
