See, Kobe is honest. Just as I said -- hard foul, maybe a flag 1. Maybe.

You expect Kobe to say that. No way he's taking Stern's evil side.

The stupid thing Artest did was remind the Lakers of the Celtics and the manhood. That's like someone going for your nuts and family, that's just getting personal. If you don't show up and fight to the death, then you have no balls anyways.

This is exactly what Ariza got ejected+suspended for and he actually tried to block the shot. I don't like the call either but it's consistent.

Jordan Farmar:

What more can I say, you got to give it up. Dude kept professional even through the bad times and came in and stepped up big time.

Nope. Artest hardly even hit Pau on anything but the arms and even that was follow through. Ariza's shouldn't have been a Flagrant as well, but this one is not even close.

Ariza hardly hit him either but the way a player lands causes the officials to make that call. It's the same situation.

Van Gundy was right, the leaque is getting soft i mean Mike Tirco was trying to say Sasha foul on Wafer was a flagrant foul. That Artest foul on Gasol was a goo hard foul and that's it, but anyways great game by Farmer i know its only one game but without Farmer we will lose this Game. I saw the Lakers on the bench and they were up cheering like the cavs bench does everygame. But hopefully we can get Game 4 and close it out in Staples Center Game 5. goodnight

I love BSPN making excuses for Yao, basically claiming he was limping the entire 2nd half. Pleaaaaase.

Kobe's fg% could have been better but overall he had a great game. 3blocks, 2 steals, good def, hit critical shots, set up his teammates. Phil said he had a "stellar game" in the press conference.

I hope Yao is alright. I also hope Artest's foul is downgraded to F-1. Then I hope we close this series out in 5.

I'm darn (dont know if I'm allowed to say the other "D" word) proud of the lakers..

Direct quote from yahoo sports:

Artest was OK with the call in Friday’s game, adding that two of the referees explained why they called it that way.

“Just the end of the game, keeping things in control,” Artest said.

end quote.

The refs called it after reviewing it... if a flag 2 is what it was than let it be..
what did Phil say? Consistency?? Artest got what he asked for when he was crying about the no calls..
Me personally I hope he get what he deserves.. And about Yao, I honestly have more respect for the guy.. Hes got heart, and its most def in the game.. I as well hope he is ok.

direct quote from yahoo sports:

Yao Ming(notes) added 19 points and 14 rebounds for the Rockets but he was bothered by a sore left foot in the final minutes and was limping as he left the court.

Yao said he would test the injury by running on Saturday and vowed he will play in Game 4 on Sunday.

“I really want to play,” he said. “When tomorrow’s test shows everything’s all right, I’m going to play.”

end quote..

I hate the rockets (and every other team that is not the lakers) but you gotta give it up to Yao.. The man is dedicated and I really respect him for that.
