It's supposed to be mostly Nash's job, but for whatever reason it hasn't been. Really it should be split between them because they clearly both need the ball to be themselves. As long as we win I don't care who does it though.

Michael jordan wasnt a pg and he averaged 8 at one point. Kobe has done 6 before. He cant go for 30 pts and 6 assists but he can do 6 assists easily.

Do I think he's capable of 6 assists per game? Sure, that's only 1 off what he already does. What does Jordan have to do with this though, Kobe's not Jordan, Jordan was never in his 17th season. Kobe's not LeBron either, he's not a point forward, he's a shooting guard, a scorer. He did the setting up the offense thing for years under Phil when he was young, he's not young anymore. And if Kobe plays this role what does Nash do? Nash is the PG, he's supposed to be playing the role we saw from Kobe tonight, Kobe's supposed to put the ball in the hole, play defense, and of course set guys up when he sees the opportunity like he always has.

Kobe's not a pg he's a SG, most SG's have a shoot first and mostly mentality, doesn't mean they can't do anything else, but that's not Kobe's bread and butter. Just because we watch other players do it sometimes often doesn't mean he can't or doesn't want to do it. His bread and butter if to shoot and score, nothing wrong with that. When he starts the game shooting and scoring and shooting a decent percentage he can't stop in between and then knock up like 10 assists and then go back to scoring us out of close games or putting the game away, imo that's asking too much for any player, any position. It's one game plan or the other. He can facilitate all game like today and just do that and we win or lose, or score like 35 and we win or lose.
