I think it will go more like this

We'll be down by 13 with 4 minutes left and cut the lead to 3 with 58 seconds remaining after back to back Kobe 30 footers. Some people will proclaim Kobe as a God and the "only one who cares" and others will say "doesn't matter they won't win anyway", Jefferson will go up for a dunk and Dwight will block it, the ball will be loose, but the Jazz end up with it and MIllsap makes a 3 as the shot clock expires. Lakers lose, we all head to WMC to say the season is over and that MDA needs to be fired and Jimmy needs to take his yacht out to sea, get hit by a furious storm and get stranded on a deserted island so Jeanie can take over and hire Phil back. Then we'll come back here on Sunday to repeat it all again.

There may be boos from the stands if they don't deliver. Forget about the playoffs. What any fan should be praying for is they turn this pathetic situation around and start winning more games than losing. We need to know that something is now in place going forward and we can look to next year. This is all so doubtful when the team isn't even showing fundamentals.

PREDICTION
The Utah Jazz have twice beaten the Lakers pretty easily this season. This has happened without Steve Nash playing either game, but one has to wonder whether Nash's addition will affect the outcome.

Utah's bench has outscored LA's bench 43-38 and 36-12 in the two meetings this season. Many factors point toward an LA loss, but the overall numbers actually favor LA at home. Utah has been bad on the road; LA has been solid at home; and Utah's recent four-game winning streak has come against some pretty poor competition (57 wins, 95 losses combined). So don't read too much into it.
