Another loss....

Defensive rebounds, interior D, turnovers and transition D.
I expect the first 2 to really improve with Dwight and with guys taking things more seriously (GASOL!!), and turnovers & transition D to be a problem until guys get really accustomed to the system.

Well I hope Ebanks can do something like that on a consistent basis in 4 to 5 minute runs.

At least it was competitive and not a blowout

Overall, this one was pretty good. Nash played great basketball, Kobe was Kobe... Pau was soft, but still productive, Jamison and Metta rebounded well, and Ebanks was really great!

a loss, but at least the rotations weren't terrible.

saw some good things out of a few benchies, particularly devin. hope to see jodie and antawn a little more alpha-dog for that bench unit in the future. devin was looking like the leader of the pack tonight.

He had concerns about Mike's attitude of not caring about winning any of these pre-season games trickling down to the players...saying we need to start developing some type of cohesiveness.

He had concerns about Mike's attitude of not caring about winning any of these pre-season games trickling down to the players. saying we need to start developing some cohesiveness.

even the casual fan could see this as an area of criticism. luckily tonight mike brown didn't muck things up as much as usual...and surprise...a better result. this should have been our 2nd or 3rd preseason game. guys looking more comfortable out there, starting to carve out some niches.

According to John Ireland, Mike Brown is going to treat Sunday's game with a bit more respect...playing the starters more, and actually trying to win.

If the previous ones didn't seem to upset the players too much, this one was not the case. The look in Kobe, Pau and Metta eyes said it all. They are starting to get angry at this situation.

And so am i.

You can say whatever you want and excuse the defeats with the pre season priorities, D12 not playing yet etc. but, for me, I've seen the team totally exposed.

There is no offence at all. Players just run around trying to understand what they should do and, then, they throw bricks or make turnovers.

Just like last year, the 2 main problems are still showing and hurting us badly. How can we have so many turnovers!? It's frustrating. And then, every single team make 3pts shots rain over us while we barely can score 30% of them.

Seriously, we've lost SEVERELY against average teams and now, we just saw our starters get killed by one of the worst teams of last year.

And please stop using the D12 excuse. If we can't get a good win without him, we wont make it that far with the guy.

Only thumbs up for Metta who was hit a few 3's, Kobe who was decent and Ebanks.

The Kings got nearly as many turnovers as we did, (We got 18, the had 16) they are common in preseason.

Am I the only one that's not as disappointed? I thought we looked a lot better, and we hit shots better. Maybe it's because the super scrubs didn't play so it didn't look as bad.
