Yeah, this is one of those things. Yes, Defense wins championships, yes, interior scoring is more reliable than perimeter scoring, but the Lakers have lost any and all credibility or respect they might have had as being a team that can perform within reasonable professional expectations as far as shooting is concerned, so their distinct advantage in the paint is neutralized by teams who know they can cheat on shooters all day long and get away with it.

Not a good situation, and not something that will fix itself.

I hope we break 80 tonight.
