Why do they keep saying this is a big win? IT'S THE 2ND GAME OF THE SEASON.

Why isn't Drew in the game???

Powell gave us that little push... that's all that was needed. He shouldn't have been in the game that long.

it only took 2 games into the season for our lakers to horribly disappoint us. nice.

20 point loss vs. a crappy team like dallas is really disappointing.

hope we get gasol back and get back to our groove soon.

To be overrated means he is widely considered to be better than he is. That doesn't occur in reality. Everyone who knows basketball knows Dirk is a very very good basketball player but not quite at that elite level.

The good thing to come out of this, is that it won't make us complacent. Losing keeps you appreciating wins. It's always easier to get to the top, then stay at the top.

Dirk isn't overrated... He is elite... he just isn't best player caliber like Kobe, Bron, etc...

Ariza for Artest anyone?? this guy is a joke I don't think it is too much to ask to hit more than 2 of the 10 plus open 3s he has been given... Trevor hits those and it is blantantly obvious that Kobe is finally over the hill and the prime years are now behind him... when a player of his "caliber" is missing open layups there is a serious problem.

This means nothing. The Lakers have a target on their back for every team - esp a team that was embarrassed on its own floor by the Wizzz and hadn't beaten the Lakers in a long while. Lakers without Pau, and still getting Ron in the mix. No big deal. They played bad, flat, and missed shots. Off nights will happen and the Mavs got up for this game like no other.

Has Ron made a free throw yet this year???

I think this was a team loss if ever there was one. Ron didn't play well, but neither did anyone else. We just took a good beating from the Mavs...
