This start has steadied my nerves quite a bit. But it is still way too early to get a read on anything. Lakers D is looking a bit better though.

Gasol needs to be more aggressive in the paint like Bynum.

Maybe, but let's be fair here. Gasol also has a very strong jump shot most of the time. If Bynum is holding the paint scoring down, Gasol can probably get away with spreading the floor a little for those 14 footers like Dirk does. Dirk pretty much only attacks the paint maybe 4 or 5 times a game and the mavericks do fine with that.

The Lakers have had many games when they started to play the right way and during the course of the game went away from it and became trigger happy from outside.

We are 7-39 from 3 point land in the series. We really need to KEEP GOING INSIDE. It wears teams down defensively and disables their ability to run transition basketball.

Excellent start so far in terms of playing the right way. Keep creating missmatches when they switch and then post up and go to work. Look to get the bigs involved. Fisher has taken a couple of suspect Js already, he needs to calm down a little bit, he is the last option on the floor.

It's funny how they post Lamar at the 3 when he's in the starting lineup yet they don't post Artest when Ron often has a mismatch.

the game just started, please calm down a little bit. We can't have Bynum post up EVERY TIME. We have little guys defending Odom, makes sense to let him post up here and there.
