Davis gets a career high on Pau. Who would have guessed that?

That's game, Pau is so F***** terrible. Why the LA sports reporters don't kill him in the papers I don't have a clue.

Well, at least they stayed in it most of the game I guess. Farmar played like crap, probably cost us.

It's like when the refs catch wind of the prevailing wisdom about a player -- for example, that their level of overall play has slipped, as in the case of pau and nash -- the refs decide, consciously or not, to not only not give them the benefit of the doubt, but actually penalize them for being "scrubs." As bad as nash has looked this year, there have been times when he gets battered and the refs refuse to blow their whistle.

if Kobe does come back this season, it will be VERY interesting to see if he gets any calls.

i blame pau more than anyone. for a veteran on this team, he's supposed to be the leader with kobe out. he is a disaster.

BTW, I'm not saying that Pau's play if because of the refs. It's just something Ive observed about the group-think exhibited by the refs over the years.

9 missed free throws..... 6 by Hill didn't help either.

I just mean Farmar and his turnovers and awful shooting. Pau on D and effort for sure.

It went the other way on Kobe. He gets mauled and they hardly call them. He gets pissed and only burns them by scoring more.

Pau seems to be playing with zero fire in the belly.

This is going to get ugly because MDA will not be able to hold his tongue and he will start making al kinds of snarky, belittling remarks in the press.

Jordan Hill's play warrants more minutes, even at the expense of Pau Gasol's minutes.
However, there is a different reason why the Lakers are losing close, winnable games.
